For the second Kanbei mission, we rotate in a new CO, this time Andy. You merely need to hold the bottlenecks and poke him down with your indirects until a path is cleared. From there, just run the APC down and take his base unless he really messes up and hands you a rout option. One more to go. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3Ph3jt8bvc
This is the lengthy quest as we need to travel a dungeon to complete it. The normal spawns here have all been replaced by the hounds, but when we take out the big cheese, it will revert back to normal. There are plenty of chests to be found here and we can also get the final fish before we can wrap up the fishing quest entirely. For those reasons, this is probably the most important mission in this set and worth the time investment.

For the final battle, we are going to be here for a little while to slog through everything. Ironically, I almost got the villain achievement for this one, so when we come back, we need to do something similar. Also, I do not know what fallen hero they are alluding to in the opening.
As for strategy, we need a lot of firepower to smash through the Breaches while enduring their effects. They are extremely bulky, Omega has a lot of them, and if you ignore them, you can trigger his auto-win condition like Voss.
Cap Thunder serves as an off tank here, able to neutralize a lot of damage with the correct card plays. He is able to contribute extra damage here and there to help trim down the Breaches, but he doesn't hit as hard as some of the heroes in Multiverse.
Lady Liberty provides an immense amount of healing here, trying to help keep everyone topped off. There are additional effects she provides as a support to help keep everyone ticking, but she doesn't really have a very hard hitting nuke card.
Pseudo ends up getting to be more offensive than I anticipated by having him counter attack with his spikes and just smacking around targets as the opportunity arises.
Siren helps Lady Liberty with the healing, but she is able to also contribute a lot of splash damage. When we get the right cards out, I can intensify her damage output as the backlash to the heroes is mitigated. Her role here is to chip away at the immense number of enemies, setting them up for Star and Pseudo to finish off.
Star Knight gets to do a lot of damage here and is my primary source of it. With so many cards landing in her trash, I can activate her secondary effects and put the screws to the enemy from the mid game to the end. I wasn't expecting the numbers I got out of her, but I won't complain with the result.
As for the environment, Terminus is meant to be the most difficult battlefield in the game. It can supply Breaches to help Omega get his secondary win condition, but the good news is that since they are environment cards, you can pop them that way provided you have the means to do so. Otherwise, other troops loyal to the villain will hop out to make you miserable as well. Siren is able to block everything they have to throw, so keep that in mind if you are able to manipulate her HP for that round to have everything focus her while she is immune.
So this brings a close to the new content. I will look to get the achievements for the specific villains, but I am not sure how soon I can get around to that. This is something I will probably try to get Crimson involved in and we can get some of the guys from the Multiverse to lend a hand or two.

Both parts of chapter 14 are here since the second one is less than ten minutes long and has no player involvement. For the first part, we need to do the mental battle and chapter battle since they come swinging out the gate. At this stage, I am trying to use the mental battles to boost some of the characters I never used in anticipation of the "true" ending. When we get to the chapter battle, we just need to pick off the VIPs to end it.
As for the bosses here, they have a lot of status immunities, but not to everything. Put the correct status on the correct enemy, and you can basically shut them down. Sadly, for mages, they still pack a lot of physical strength, so make sure you bring healers. If you do this correctly, you can use the enemy fortifications against them, so be creative in how you want to bring them down.

We kick off the second case where we aim to purify the ghost we had a run-in with in the first. Here, we explore the school during the day and meet the players, with some of the returning faces from the first game making appearances. I take the opportunity to explore the school, which does not yield anything, but we need to track down Hanako's band mates and identify who the next victim is...

Yes, Blue has made his return into the game and has a lot of ground to recover. He needed to get all of the ranked games with a friend out of the way, so we sat and did play all 8 games. I think I took 2 out of the set, and you get to see the remainder. Unlike with Quizzy, he is in Discord with me, so you get to hear him talk, including where things just go wrong in bizarre ways and we are stuck witnessing it...

The final battle with Sturm is here, and it is kind of anti-climatic. Sturm has all of his normal bonuses that make him annoying to deal with, plus a staggering economy, plus all sorts of fortifications. You can probably make this a slug-fest that will take awhile before finally overwhelming him, but I don't have the time or patience for that after how the final battle in the first game went, so we opt for the cheese strat here.
Colin has weaker units, but due to his reduced deployment costs means you can field a unit a tier higher sooner. I exploit this to get some bombers out for him and start blasting the emplacements. From there, I could choose to turn this into a slug-fest, but since this map will not affect my overall outcome, I choose just to go for the win.
As for the guys on the flanks, these are decoys for Colin. Max can be handy for his direct units being able to trade almost evenly with Sturm. For the other side, you can go with either Eagle or Sensei as your goal is going to be spamming copters to distract. I choose Eagle here since his ground units are better than Sensei, meaning my tanks can do a little more work than his. The economy is not large enough to justify fielding Kanbei.
So with this, the campaign has come to a close and we need to start working on the hard mode campaign so we can unlock the final character in the game. I will continue working on the war room as well, so hopefully by the time we unlock him, we will be able to buy most of the things from his shop in the process.

Compared to the daily video, this time we are in the opposite position and we need to use a slight variation of the tactics from the other video. Grit's artillery will shred anything other than Lash (Javier is not in the game), so you can either use her or bring in the big gun here. By sending in Sturm, the trees offer defense and nothing more. Send in an early wave of recons to shoot Grit's nest full of holes then bring in the bigger guns once your economy is developed. If done correctly, you can keep him permanently on his heels and the finishing blow is not much further behind. Even in the event you somehow mess things up, keep in mind you need only drop a single meteor to turn everything around.

Here we pick up the next support unit in a fairly straightforward battle. The Bianca packs some buffs and debuffs as well as useless (in the current version) debuff cleanse. It is not until part 9 where I know what Restore actually does, so you may see me use it in this video or the next one and get confused about how it does nothing (it doesn't yet). The important parts about the Bianca are that it packs Aim Down, which is great for most battles as you can debuff dangerous targets, the Attack Up buff which can sometimes come in handy for wrapping up a mission, and a Kinetic weapon that allows her to take small pieces out of battleships. Additionally, she has a shield system that can limit the amount of damage lasers do.
I'm going to still make wasteful movements in this video and up until part 9 since the tooltips are not in the game to clearly explain what everything does.

I opt to take a break from the story to briefly explore a dungeon. I am hoping that this was just for a piece of loot and not a sidequest later. Sadly, I've waited so long to do it that it is a complete cake walk, so you get to see me loot the place, smack the boss around, find a new axe that is intended for someone with the Apothecary job since it boosts ice. Had I come here a little earlier, I could have gotten some use out of it for the enemies in Winterbloom, but here it is just a little too late.
