In this video, he will make another attempt. Then, he will go to Cape Teriggan to do some more leveling as Paladin. Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He is currently a White Mage/Black Mage. In his Delivery Box, he receives gil for three Water Clusters, a Wind Cluster, a Pluton, and a Riftborn Boulder that sold at auction. Many thanks to the buyers! After putting an item away in his Mog Safe, Heorot exits to Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 1:33): Heorot teleports to Eastern Adoulin. Eastern Adoulin (time 2:18): Heorot has already set Home Point #2 at H-10 near the Residential Area as his current home point. He uses the Waypoint at H-10 to teleport to the Frontier Station in Yorcia Weald, East Ulbuka Territory. Yorcia Weald (time 3:09): Heorot arrives at the Frontier Station at J-8. He rides west and then south. At I-8/J-8, he enters the Cirdas Caverns. Cirdas Caverns (time 4:12): Heorot gains control at I-7. Just west of the entrance, he examines the Castoff Point and uses "Watercrafting" to cross the poisonous water. Past this point, he turns south. At I-9, he examines the Scalable Area and uses "Climbing" to descend the vines. In a dead end at K-11, Heorot examines the Wavering Flux target at K-11. He chooses the battlefield for "Yggdrasil Beckons". He is taken to Cirdas Caverns [U]. The Sun Yellow Pome temporary key item is lost. Cirdas Caverns [U] (time 8:03): Heorot, his Trust NPCs, and Darrcuiln make their sixth attempt to defeat Dhokmak. Dhokmak comes with three Malignant Acuexes. The Malignant Acuexes are susceptible to sleep. However, their physical attacks can inflict poison. Dhokmak itself uses TP attacks. Based on the guide, the Malignant Acuexes are weak to ice, while Dhokmak is weak to lightning. Heorot goes after each Malignant Acuex one at a time first. He tries a party of Trion, Tenzen II, Kupipi, Arciela II, and Semih Lafihna, but it does not turn out well. The battle ends in defeat when Darrcuiln is defeated. Heorot is ejected to Cirdas Caverns. Cirdas Caverns (time 12:52): Heorot Warps back to Eastern Adoulin. Eastern Adoulin (time 13:10): Heorot enters his Rent-a-Room. Mog House (time 13:49): Heorot changes his main job to Level 66 Paladin with White Mage as support job. Then, he heads back out. Eastern Adoulin (time 14:23): Heorot teleports to Leafallia, East Ulbuka Territory. Leafallia (time 14:44): Heorot examines the Aged Stump at H-8. He acquires another Sun Yellow Pome temporary key item. Then, he teleports to Port Bastok. Port Bastok (time 15:52): Heorot talks to the Curio Moogle Vendor at K-12 and picks up another Fruit Parfait. Then, he teleports to Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 17:18): After his weakness effect wears off, Heorot enters the Residential Area to recover his HP and MP. Mog House (time 18:26): Heorot goes back outside. Bastok Mines (time 18:40): Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to Cape Teriggan, Vollbow. Cape Teriggan (time 19:26): Heorot arrives at the Vollbow Region Outpost at G-8. After summoning his Trust NPCs, he uses the nearby Field Manual to accept the Page 2 individual training to defeat 4 Robber Crabs and 5 members of the Goblin family per training regime. Afterwards, he sets out to hunt these enemies. Goblins appear in the area near the camp. Robber Crabs appear near the sea shore beyond the pass to the east. Eventually, Heorot reaches Paladin Level 68. When he has finished grinding for now, he uses the Survival Guide at G-8 to teleport back to Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 59:08): Heorot teleports to Bastok Markets. Bastok Markets (time 1:00:00): Heorot trades his Copper A.M.A.N. Voucher to Isakoth at E-11. In Mjoll's Goods, he sells his loot to Olwyn at E-11. Then, Heorot teleports to Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 1:01:52): At the auction house, Heorot puts a stack of Fire Crystals, a Water Cluster, a Scroll of Shellra IV, and three chunks of Beitetsu up for sale. Afterwards, Heorot enters the residential area. Mog House (time 1:04:21): Heorot signs off. Next time, he will make another attempt to defeat Dhokmak. Then, he will continue leveling. They took the teleportal in Alltrades Abbey, and where did they arrive but Eterne Village. They traveled north through the Nurturing Land and the Nameless Meadow. In the place of the prologue's Clear Water Cave, they found and explored the Evil Cave of Creation. They defeated evil Anlucia's retainers: Demon Soldier Gezora, Demon Soldier Grimos, and Demon Captain Basler. Now, they will continue to the Whirlpool of Creation to confront evil Anlucia. Gran Zedora (time 0:29): The party resumes in the church in the Kingdom of Gran Zedora. A three-phase boss battle is coming up, so the party should be well prepared. Yggdrasil Dews can serve the party well. Ike at D-7/E-7 has story info. The party Zooms to the Nameless Meadow destination. Nameless Meadow (time 4:45): At E-1, the party enters the Evil Cave of Creation. Evil Cave of Creation (time 5:08): The party starts in the Foul Water Cave. They take the door at E-3 to the Empty Road of Birth. Next, they take the white sigil at F-2 to the Devil's Cliff. In the Devil's Cliff, the party takes the blue teleportal at C-6/D-6. Then, they take the ashen sigil at E-4 to the western part of the Empty Road of Birth. At C-5 in the Empty Road of Birth, the party takes the black sigil to teleport onto the nearby plateau. They take the door at C-5/D-5 to the central area of the map. This spiraling path is inhabited by purple people-eaters called Great Trolls (トロルキング). At the end of the path, the party takes the sigil at E-4 to the Whirlpool of Creation (創生の渦). When they arrive, a scene takes place with the two Anlucias and Court Wizard Kirgil. Evil Anlucia becomes the Demon Hero Anlucia. Unfortunately, she also seals the good Anlucia. After the scene, it is boss time against Demon Hero Anlucia (魔勇者アンルシア). This is just the first bout. Evil Anlucia can act twice per round, and her abilities include the powerful Kazapple (ジゴデイン). Since the good Hero Princess Anlucia has been sealed away, the party can't count on her help in this bout. Kazapple is the main worry. Evil Anlucia doesn't have a lot of HP, fortunately. A scene takes place after the first bout. Of course, the evil princess has another form ready. Fortunately, the good Anlucia throws a wrench into her doppelganger's plans. Hero Princess Anlucia is required for the upcoming bout, so the player has the opportunity to change the party lineup. After the scene, it is time for the second bout against Demon Hero Anlucia (魔勇者アンルシア). The evil princess can still act twice per round. She gains the ability Magic of Creation (創生の魔力). This puts traps under three party members that deal damage each turn. She still has the powerful Kazapple. She also has Bewitching Eyes, a glance that inflicts sleep on a party member. If Daston is in the party, his Trap Jammer ability can be used effectively to move the trap under Demon Hero Anlucia. Hero Princess Anlucia can be used effectively for support and healing. As before, the evil princess isn't bloated with HP, so wearing her down should not take long. Another scene takes place after the second bout. Evil Anlucia has a new trick up her sleeve, but so does the good Anlucia. After the scene, it is time for the third bout against Demon Hero Anlucia (魔勇者アンルシア). Still able to act twice per round, the evil princess gains Cloth of Darkness, which greatly boosts her offensive and defensive power while in effect. She retains her previous abilities and gains Disruptive Wave. Fortunately, Hero Princess Anlucia learns something new: the Coup de Grâce ability Hero's Light (勇者の光). Hero's Light will eliminate powerful buffs, such as Demon Hero Anlucia's Cloth of Darkness. Hero Princess Anlucia's tension may increase when evil Anlucia uses Cloth of Darkness, so good Anlucia can use Hero's Light right away. This will leave both Anlucias stunned for a time, so the party will have a chance to unleash some damage on the villain. Like the previous forms, this one is not overloaded with HP, so the party should not have too much problem taking her down. At the end of the battle Demon Hero Anlucia provides a base of ca. 30,000 experience points and 15,000 gold. Hero Princess Anlucia reaches Level 63. She earns 12 skill points for a total of 16. As they continued using the machines in the Main Room, they earned a few more accolades. After accumulating a total of 22,576 tokens, they exchanged 20,000 tokens for the VIP License key item. This left them with 2,576 tokens. Now, the party will check out the VIP Rooms in the Casino and then continue gambling. Rakkaran (time 0:28): The party resumes in the church in Rakkaran, the Island of Entertainment. They enter the Casino at G-6. Armed with their new VIP License, they take the door at G-4/G-5 to the VIP Rooms. The central VIP Room has a bank NPC, a token vendor NPC, and a prize vendor, but they function just like the ones in the Entrance. The doors at H-4 and H-5 lead out to the Casino Terrace. When the party is ready to gamble, they start in the Main Room, as purchasing the VIP License left them low on tokens. I also begin save-scumming frequently to keep from losing too much. Whenever they win, the party leaves and reenters the Casino to make an auto-save. Fortunately, the player can dash by pressing the R1 button on PlayStation, or the R button on Switch. Whenever they lose too much, I quit to the title screen and reload the game from the latest auto-save. After the party has saved up over 5,000 tokens, they begin gambling in the VIP Rooms. They start with a couple decent wins at the Slot Machines. Then, they focus on Roulette. The player earns the accolade and trophy "Lucky Star" for having a total of 100,000 tokens or more. By the end of their session, the party has accumulated 130,952 tokens. The party leaves the Casino and saves at the church. They will continue gambling at the Casino next time. Thanks for watching! Now, Heorot will switch to Sage, and the party will continue grinding in the Dematode Highlands. Glen (time 0:28): The party resumes in the church in Glen Castle Town. The party talks to Subjugation Member Garal at G-5/G-6. The "Disappointed Morris's Request" scroll is complete. The party earns 19 Green Eyes (グリーンアイ). At the pub, the party talks to Introducer Gargo. Heorot sets up a friend code for the "Father Iha's Request" scroll, a four-star difficulty request. The reward is 13 Green Eyes (グリーンアイ). Also, Heorot changes his vocation to Level 48 Sage. He crafts himself an Oh-no Bow +3 (じごくの弓＋３) and equips it. He also crafts a Star Cross +3 (サザンクロス＋３) boomerang in case he wants to use it. The party talks to Subjugation Member Garal at G-5/G-6 again. They sign up for the "Father Iha's Request" scroll. The base duration is 12 hours, but the friends that Heorot assigns reduce that to 10 hours. The party Zooms to the Oasis Caravan in East Gobul Desert. East Gobul Desert (time 10:57): The party arrives at the Oasis Caravan at E-5/F-5. After riding the underground mine carts northwest, they enter the Dematode Highlands at D-1. Dematode Highlands (time 11:43): The party starts at E-4. They go through the tunnel at F-5 and emerge at E-6 in the southern part of the zone. Then, they begin hunting monsters in the area. Heorot reaches Sage Level 49. He earns 1 skill point for a total of 8. The party takes out a trio of Liquid Metal Slimes (time 19:40). Heorot jumps to Sage Level 51. At Level 50, he learns the Sage ability Clear Your Mind (零の洗礼), which dispels one enemy's buffs. He earns 4 skill points for a total of 12. The player earns the accolade "All-Enlightened" for reaching Sage Level 50 and the accolade "Guardian of Knowledge" for becoming a first-class Sage. When the party's Double Bubble and Metal Perfume expire, they use new ones. Heorot reaches Sage Level 52. He earns 1 skill point for a total of 13. Heorot reaches Sage Level 53. He earns 1 skill point for a total of 14. Under Bows, he spends 14 points on the Coup de Grâce ability Shining Shot (シャイニングボウ). The player earns the accolade "God-bow Archer" for picking up 20 nodes on the Bow skill panel. As the party's MP begins to run low, they Zoom to the Oasis Caravan in East Gobul Desert. After riding the underground mine carts northwest, the party enters the Dematode Highlands at D-1. Dematode Highlands (time 38:29): The party starts at E-4. They go through the tunnel at F-5 and emerge at E-6 in the southern part of the zone. They resume hunting monsters in the area. Heorot reaches Sage Level 54. He earns 1 skill point for a total of 1. Heorot reaches Sage Level 55. He learns the Sage trait Magic Mending +30, though sadly it is Sage-exclusive. He earns 2 skill points for a total of 3. At the bazaar, they pick up an Icicle Dirk (こおりのやいば) for 8,800 gold. They also grab the available materials, including a Yellow Orb and a Blue Orb. The party saves at the church.
