The Fume Hood Saga - (Part 1)
In this video I dismantle my fume hood in preparation for:
"Fume Hood 2.0 - The Big Suck-Suck"
I also uploaded this video to make some announcements that some of you may not be aware of:
1. My fume hood is out of commission, which means I will likely be focusing on rebuilding it and generally working on improving my lab for the next few weeks.
2. Item #1 limits my ability to perform some reactions I wanted to do safely, for instance I wanted to make bromoethane soon. I might still do that one if the weather is good enough, I'll do it outside or something.
3. I will likely make videos or timelapse videos like this one on the build/rebuild process of things for the lab during this time.
4. I also have several videos that have previously been filmed that I haven't gotten around to editing due to lack of time and other factors (laziness) that have delayed production times. I will be editing and releasing these when I can while the lab is undergoing "renovations".
Thank you all for sticking with me and being patient! I also have started an Instagram account if you want to follow my progress between videos.
A final note, I have set up a Patreon account and put the links for my Instagram and Patreon in the about section of the channel.
