Cheated? F104 Tires - 3D Printing the Open RC F1 Car Part 7 / Lulzbot Mini
In this step, we are supposed to print out the wheels in Ninjaflex, put them on the rims, and slap them on to the car. Since I didn't have an extruder for Ninjaflex, I printed out Daniel's F104 rims and purchased the rubber wheels instead. They are big and rub against the chassis a bit!
I've ridden my CCX 185 miles now. Juiced Bikes put the wrong controller unit in my bike, so Zero and Race Mode didn't work as expected. In this video, I replace the controller unit on the CrossCurrent X with details not shown in Juiced Bike's video which is for some older bike.

Welcome to the second installment of this Sunvox and Pixilang tutorial. We start building a demo in this video that lets you pick and play a Sunvox file. In the next installment, we'll start actually drawing something to the screen. Here are links to the webpages shown in the tutorial:

In this update of ponzi2, the stock chart viewer written in Go, I incorporated price bars, exponential moving averages, weekly charts, and used Gobs to save and restore user settings. Most of these features are inspired from reading a lot of the William O'Neil books that my father left on the shelf.

ponzi2 is an open-source stock chart viewer written in Go using OpenGL and GLFW.
I talk about the shiny v1.1.0 release which features one day charts, a packed title bar, and a return to Open Source!

This time I experimented with using a different scale than usual and incorporating some spoken word into the track. I know I broke my rule about using no samples, but only the vocals were sampled. I still use only Sunvox modules for the rest of the sounds. :-)
I used Pixilang for the visualization again. However, I rendered at 640x360 and zoomed in to get to 1280x720. This boosted the frame rate, so I hope it is a bit smoother than the last video. There is nothing too special about the video. The circles are just images that I made in GIMP and tinted by Pixilang.

Learn how to package resources with your Go applications with Brian Muramatsu! Resources could be images for game characters, 3D model coordinates, or even other code like shader programs. Using go-bindata and go generate, you can embed these into your executable while still delivering a single executable and remaining go-gettable.
go-bindata: A small utility which generates Go code from any file. Useful for embedding binary data in a Go program.

Tomorrow's Footsteps is a melodramatic piece with plenty of cliched sounds. :-) The first half was written in 2005. At that time, the track ended in a very somber way that never really picked up. When I revisited the tune this year, I replaced the second half with a more energetic stomping finale! Hope you like it!
The machines used here remain the same as ever: Jeskola Noise Generator, FSM Kick, Jeskola Delay, Jeskola Bass3, and Jeskola ES-9. As usual, you can find the Buzz file on my webpage along with an ogg.

I used Sunvox on Android and Linux to create the music and wrote some Pixilang code to create the visualization. If you have any questions or tutorial requests about how to make your own music or visualization, let me know in the comments!
