The "Right Triangle" way to Find the Radius of the Small Pink Circle! Minute Math
This is a fun geometry problem. We have three circles tangent to a line and they are all touching each other. The large circle has a radius of 4, the medium circle has a radius of 2, and we need to find the radius of the small circle. A hint is that we use right triangles to figure this out! Can you fingure this geometry problem out?
Simplify 5i/(-2-6i) by rationalizing the imaginary denominator. We learn how to simplify 5i/(-2-6i). We learn how to simplify an imaginary expression by using properties that we know about imaginary numbers. we rationalize imaginary denominators by finding the complex conjugate. This is a great introduction into finding the complex conjugate and simplify an imaginary expression using the complex conjugate. This is under the topic of Rationalizing Imaginary Denominators with this free online math video lesson. #imaginarynumbers #complexconjugate #minutemath

Average Rate of Change. What is the equation of the secant line of y=1/(x+3); (-1 1/2) (-1/2 2/5)? We learn how to find the equation of the secant line of y=1/(x+3); (-1 1/2) (-1/2 2/5). We find the average rate of change of a function given two points and we find the equation of the secant line with the given points on the function. Finding the average rate of change with finding the equation of the secant line that intersects the given points on the function is a great introduction into differentiation and will prepare you for derivatives. This is under the topic of Differentiation with this free online math video lesson. #ratesofchange #averageratesofchange #secantline #differentiation #calculus #calculushelp #minutemath #onlinemathlessons
