Although I did not book the lead role due to some conflicts I did get a snag a supporting role. The best advice I could give to an actor looking for a comedic monologue is to watch some of your favorite funny movies and find something that makes you life. I would also suggest to make sure that it is audition appropriate. Sometimes excessive bad words and gestures can turn off the casting department. KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE!
