Hobao Hyper MT Universal Drive Shafts Issues Part 2
This is the follow up video i made after ordering 2 pairs of brand new shafts on the 05-08-2020. Still no response from hobao. These have come straight out the packet and they are already cracked.
I now have 10 of these drive shafts and 9 are broken or cracked. Only 1 is ok, There is clearly a manufacturing/ quality issue here. I hope they can fix it as soon as possible.
It also messes up the inside of the hubs when the pins are sticking out before they snap.
I would be fine if one had broken from my bad driving, but i have had my Hyper ST for 5 years and i have never had an issue like this with the driveshafts. In these 5 years i have bent 3 shafts. None of the universal shafts which i run on the front and in the centre have broken at all, despite being in a much much more powerful truck.
Other than the driveshafts i have not really had any other problems with the truck. Its great to drive. It has taken everything i put it though.

I will best test my motherboard with both an X5450 and X5460. I will be comparing them to a Q6950 and a QX6950. The quad core Xeons cost somewhere between a high end C2D like the E8400, 8500 and 8600 and the 45nm C2Q like the Q9450, 9550 and 9650.
