In this video I talk about how to get recruited for basketball. I give 3 examples of what you can do to get your name out there and get schools looking at you. A lot of the times you have to be the one to start the recruiting process. If you don't have colleges looking at you already, than it is up to you to get busy on these things.

I wanted to show you guys that you don't always need a big gym, and fancy equipment to get a good vertical jump workout in. For this video I go through a challenging vertical jump workout that you can do at home, or anywhere as long as you have a little bit of space. Increasing your vertical jump for basketball is very important, and is actually available to anybody.
Do I think a lot of different equipment is good? Absolutely! I think it is extremely important that we have certain resources to maximize our bodies potential. But their are no excuses, and you can definitely train yourself to jump higher without weights. So don't let the little access, and no resources stop you! Vertical jump training is a must, and will help your game in so many ways!

Today we are talking about how to change direction quickly when running. In my opinion this is best and fastest way to change direction in basketball. This move is used in football and soccer a lot as well, it is very effective by selling the defender that you are going one way, but puts your body in a great position to change directions quickly and efficiently. It is very effective with moves like a juke, v-cut, or even a crossover. I go into detail about exactly how to perform this move in order to get this best results when changing directions at a rapid pace.

For this weeks video I wanted to share something a little personal, and just talk about the reason I didn't play basketball in college. I give a little of my high school background and explain the situation in depth.
I mention how much I loved the game and how much a wanted to play college basketball. I would've given everything that I owned to have a chance to play in college, it is what I had always wanted.
But things just didn't work out as smoothly as what I expected it was going to, or as smoothly as it should've. I talk a little about the local scouting at that time, and how big of a mistake it was to let a player like me go. I also stress that I hope everything wasn't sounding too arrogant.
I mention that I even called a division II college coach to see if he would be interested in a player like me. I also talk about a big possible reason why I didn't get any offers.
I had the basketball skill and the IQ, but I didn't have the physicality factor of basketball (strength and conditioning, athleticism, and speed) which could've turned coaches away. Which to me is completely backwards because skill in basketball takes much longer to master and to learn than those things that I was missing.
So this is basically a long reason of why I do what I do. I focus on the things a didn't have, and I want to be a great basketball strength and conditioning coach because that is what I have learned a lot about over the years and can help athletes have what I did not.

How To Get Rid Of Plantar Fasciitis (3 Foot Pain Treatments)
I had bottom foot pain for a solid year before I started to really focus getting rid of my Plantar Fasciitis. I break it down into 3 things to focus on every day, about 5-10 minutes each. (Massaging) The way I like to massage the Plantar Fascia is to use a foot roller. You can also use a baseball or lacrosse ball for Plantar Fasciitis. (Stretching) To stretch for Plantar Fasciitisc I give stretches that are known to be calf stretches but will reach the Plantar Fascia. (Strengthening) I give you one exercise for Plantar Fasciitis, and it involves a band.
