Final Fantasy IV: The After Years (3D Remake) [Linux] {Part 51} The Lunarians' Tale - Subterrane B8 - B12
And here are the final floors of the Subterrane. Again we face off against Zeromus' Malice, but the outcome doesn't seem to be as fortuitous this time...
This system is WAY easier than Circe. Had it not been for dumb luck, I would have beat this mission on the first try. Maybe had I brought a better wingman...
Pretty lengthy video, but I finally cleared the vast majority of the desert of its imp and sand monster infestation. There are probably some stragglers wandering about that I'll try and get later, but for now I've learned the skill from Patriarch that I'll need to enter the final area of the game.
Rescuing Timmy's parents was actually fairly easy and didn't take that long. I probably spent more time mopping up orcs for my level than I actually did rescuing them!
I can't quite put my finger on why the bug lady gave me such a hard time here. Maybe I just remember her being easier than she was on the first run through here. Either way, we have another piece of the Zanmatou and are moving on.
Starting to get into familiar territory now at least as far as traversing the stages go. The boss was a little more difficult, but not enough that I couldn't handle it on the first go.
Starting to focus on completing the second side mission of the game now. I felt it would be appropriate and in character to start trying to rescue the firefighters. I'm going to go island from island for this one. And probably beat up any Riddler informants I see on my way...
As expected, the low-res video issue with OBS struck again. It records the video, but it's stuck in the upper left hand corner as the resolution is much lower than 720p. The final battle isn't too bad though, so the next video will be the last as the Demon of Lies meets its end.
And here's the western portion of the town area surrounding the Black Temple that we can access for now. I take a couple of trips back to the east and outskirts to complete some quests, but mostly this is focused on the west.
