The crash happened because I flew into my own rotor or Turbulence, bad judgment on my part. There was absolutely no wind when I was flying, which enabled me to fly so close to the ground and also inches away from the wooden poles. But when I started spiralling close to the ground the wing created its own rotor (turbulence). This was more than I expected and caused me to drop a few feet in height. As the margin was already so fine, this was enough to cause the crash.
