Algonquin Camp day 1 & 2
Went camping in NW CT for 3 days. The first night was solo. Lots of Owls hooting, deer snorting, Yotes howling, plus other stuff. Very nice, the first day and a half was humid then it cooled off. Had a little bit of rain. We built a bigger campfire in the pit the second night. we brought our guitars and plucked a bit. I made a Hobo stove and tested it out back. I made a mod on the spot and boild 500ml of water for Twinings Tea. Overall it works well. Its always good to have a stove when you need it. Did some fishing at my friends cottage on a nice cool day. We caught lots of fish using worms, live bait and artificials . Then a storm came in so we left. Had some Krispy Creme donuts in a package that tasted very good . We were home before noon . We threw all the fish back except for one that was not going to make it, so i took him home and ate him . The beans I made from scratch .

Went to the Woodlot with my son to cut and load firewood. The weather was hot and very humid. This summer has be humid and hot. Used Still and Husky saws Husqvarna Safety gear. My wife and I went to the shore last month (Sept) just kicken back. To the left if you keep walking is New London separated by an inlet. To the far left is the mouth of the Thames river and Groton.
