While yellow and purple may sometimes be treated as "equal" in some senses, such as, "We used equal amounts of yellow and purple when painting the house" (garish house...), they're as different can be, so how much sense does it make to assert their "equality" in a general and pervasive way?
Segment 1 of a discussion about Kamala, a Mahavidya in Hindu mythology but also the name Planetary Tantrikas use to refer to telluric frequency #10 of the Shakti Cluster, which is a tool for interactive magic with the entelechy of the living earth, to whom the Gnostics referred as Sophia and whom the Greeks called Gaia.
Modern Sophianic animists and practitioners of the living Gnosis call that superhuman entity Gaia-Sophia, with the 'i' in both words given a long 'i' sound so that the name rhymes. The feminine name "Sophia" with the 'i' pronounced as long 'e' (in the usual way) we reserve for humans and sometimes pet animals. (And it is also the Greek word for "wisdom," which meaning we also transfer to the pronunciation used when speaking of the Goddess.)
In this segment, George and Jeremy discuss some of the more "sensitive" aspects of Kamala's functions and the interests of those who align with her in the social and culture wars for humanity's future.
Main points discussed include:
Should the male and female genders be regarded as equal or as complementary? The concepts are not semantic opposites, but focusing on one tends to detract from the other, so it can be said that they are functionally in conflict.
Pornography is a plague that generally has a degenerative influence, but could there be a legitimate social role for explicit depictions of sex acts? And on a related note, does religion generally serve as the best sort of antidote to the problems correlated with porn?

To clarify the passing mention of aboriginal Australians in this recording, modern aboriginals of course are civilized but for tens of thousands of years, they were a culture of hunter-gatherers. Also, no disrespect is intended toward any people whose social organization in current or recent times has not been "civilized" according to the prevailing definition, or to any people whose preferences have been for other kinds of social organization.

Segment 2 of 3 of Part 1 of the Sophianic Reading Club's (SRC's) discussion of independent study (IS) focuses on an article with the title [Independent Study](https://www.thoughtco.com/what-is-independent-study-1857517) by Grace Fleming. Since this article features some of the same main points as the article discussed in segment 1, our discussion of it is a big shorter.
The main purposes of this discussion are:
* Enhance our appreciation for IS and what it can do or us if we pursue it in an organized manner
* Consider potential downsides of IS in order to get a balanced view of it
* Critique and improve if possible the way in which the SRC's approach to individual and group learning accomplished via reading, watching the occasional video, and discussing points raised by presenters of information in the light of Sophianic teachings produces accelerated, focused learning

Part 2 of today's meeting includes discussion of the role of legal precedent in the development of common law and a preview of upcoming content.
Sophianic Superlearning tackles the law - in a very limited way, so far. We're looking into the origins and history of common law and the role played by common law in American society (and other societies). What is the nature of common law? Does it uphold freedom or does it perhaps give the advantage to tyrannical authority / authoritarian tyranny? What has been the role of religion, specifically Christianity (and/or the Bible) in the development of common law? What is the priority of common law relative to other kinds of law? Does common law present a real solution, or anything like a comprehensive solution, to the challenges dissenters, skeptics and freedom-lovers are facing relative to the mandates being issued and enforced, ostensibly justified by a "public health emergency" and claims that the mandated measures are necessary or beneficial to cope with or overcome the alleged emergency?
Please note that we think the learning about law in which we and others need to engage goes *much* deeper than what we're accomplishing here. We are scratching the surface and just getting started.

In this episode of the Sophianic Reading Club, participants discuss characteristics of ancient civilizations and, significantly although seemingly almost coincidentally, gain insight into a way in which civilization might be usefully and beneficially redefined.
We also briefly touch upon the point that a strong sense of identity (and, we might add, mission) contributes toward the potential for optimal expression of and by a social group.

The common law was designed to be like a machine that, in the best cases, was able to dispense justice; but it was found to be deficient, so it was found necessary to develop the system of equity and add it as a complement and supplement to the common law. In contrast, "God's law," whatever one takes that to be, has been assumed to be a perfect means of determining and dispensing justice. If that is the case, why was there ever a perceived need for laws devised by humans, and why did those laws survive and thrive after the conversion of Europe to Christianity? And were the efforts of Christian jurists to develop and improve the common law by incorporating Christian ideas into it misguided and futile? Did they simply corrupt Christianity through their efforts while failing to fully correct the deficiencies of common law?
Such are the questions (with others like them) to which consideration of Richard Anthony's article, [Is the Common Law really based upon God's Law?](http://www.ecclesia.org/truth/common_law.html) gives rise.
To the best of our abilities, we apply the Sophianic perspective and our probative faculties while considering Anthony's views and Bible-oriented arguments.
