For example when a single mother raises a complete idiot for a son so that he can't leave the nest and has to spend his years look after his mother the way that a husband would but without any of the benefits a husband would get like procreation or sex. Everyone has heard of this term in in the black community. The Father Husband is something I heard recently and I'm not sure where but that one hit home for me. It's s a lot less spoken about and it's when a grown man has a girlfriend or wife that's immature and can't do much for herself so you the man step in like her father to help her survive in live and function. The worst possible fate for a man is to be both a son-husband and a father-husband. I'm not a son-husband but in my adult relationships I got sick and tired of being the Father-husband after trying to help two fully grown women mature and function in modern soyciety. I learned that you can't raise a fully grown woman. Here neural pathways for the most part are stuck in their ways. When I was a Father Husband I couldn't keep up with both things. Helping her and looking after myself which has now been a lot easier especially since you can't help women that don't want to be helped. Getting Over Oneitis - MGTOW "Hi Sandman, I have a video request that you look at the causes of and actionable solutions to oneitis. I am severely depressed and suicidal over a Canadian-Irish girl I knew from grade 10 of high school. She was the first girl I truly loved and I emotionally invested so much in her it left me irrevocably traumatised. I still present many behaviours symptomatic of PTSD from this ordeal. My oneitis has driven me to the point of attempting suicide, as as much as I can intellectually accept "AWALT" as a way of debunking oneitis, she is a very mature only child with a ton in common and the strongest connection Ive ever had with another person. her nawalt status, especially compared to the cesspool of other women out there, is nigh on impossible to demote and depedestalize when I've been close to her for three years and she stands out from every other female of any age group I've ever interacted with in her self-awareness, genuine character and altruistic demeanour. how do I go about getting over this oneitis, having driven me to the verge of suicide, not least when the scarcity of these types of Human beings is driven in to you and she truly is a needle in a Canadian-Irish hay stack. I will do my best to give you advice but if you're still suicidal then I suggest you see a professional therapist. You're from Canada so you can get a government funded psychotherapist or group therapy sessions. Psychologists and psychiatrists are not always funded by the government program but psychotherapists are licensed family doctors that can also act like psychologists. My suggestion is to get a personal therapist and eventually graduate to group therapy. The reason I think group therapy could be good for you is because you get to hear the stories of older men and women and what they went through in their lives and you can ask them how they dealt with losing their first love. We all go through the pain of loss after our first love. It took me almost four years to get to the point where I was over the first woman I loved as an adult. On top of that I was the one that pulled the trigger and broke my own heart because the relationship was not good for me at that time. While I was grieving I met another woman and had someone to love during my difficult time. This is a possible strategy, to go out and meet other women and have your heart broken again and again until it toughens you up and makes you see that women are all the same. The only way that you will accept the fact that all women are like that is once you date more women.
