THE PUBLIC IS BEING DENIED OPEN ACCESS TO THE COURTS
ALL COURTS SHALL BE OPEN - Article 1, Section 13, Texas Constitution

"Open trials are bulwarks of our free and democratic government: public access to court proceedings is one of the numerous ‘checks and balances’ of our system, because ‘contemporaneous review in the forum of public opinion is an effective restraint on possible abuse of judicial power." Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens

This hearing took place in the 419th Judicial District Court of Travis County, Texas, on October 6, 2021. This hearing is different than many in that it pertains to seven "interpleaders" who filed a case with the court because Judge God Dustin Howell indiscriminately cut a YouTube and conducted a 'Star Chamber" in July of this year. Cutting a YouTube feed is suppression and deprives the public of their right and is enough to mandate reversal and a new trial. I believe that attorney Daryl Weinman, an officer of the court, failed in her duty in not reporting the judge for his actions, but that she didn't want to "piss off the judge," lest he rule against her. For these reasons, these interpleaders were seeking a reversal and a new trial.

The courts' importance to society cannot be underestimated, and therefore our duty to monitor the courts - and review their actions - is a very important responsibility. By monitoring the courts, we can see the outcomes of bad laws that need to be repealed; we can file bar complaints against abusive or negligent attorneys; we can lodge complaints against judges that act unjustly; and we can affirm good laws, verdicts, judges, and attorneys. Most importantly, we can protect innocent people - or even guilty people - from being mistreated. I believe this is our duty to our fellow citizen. Our right and obligation to do so is so important that it is enshrined in Article 1, Section 13 of our Bill of Rights in the Texas Constitution.

The courts belong to the people. The courts are videotaping all hearings that take place. To protect each person's rights and to prevent judicial tyranny and attorney misconduct and abuse, I believe that each litigant should be provided a videorecording of their hearings. With the technology that is available today, to not do so is to deprive people of their rights to due process.

Thank you to the many court watchers who are observing the courts, and thank you to the person who provided me with this video to review, edit, and post for the public.
