The NATIONAL FIREARMS AGREEMENT, imposed by the corporation AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT onto the over-arching corporation COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA and its registered CITIZENS --which itself is a legal, corporate, 'extra-constitutional', privatised US STATE, banned the use of firearms for most purposes outside of strictly controlled, regulated, costly Permits, Licences and form-filled hoops and barriers-- ensured the mainstream loss of firearm possession and liberty to keep Arms and munitions on legal terms unless the expensive cash cow was met: In Australia you require a licence depending on what kind of weapon and its purpose, a) recreation, b) sporting, c) hunting, d) occupational, etc. to name a few-- THEN you need the money and correct forms filled to gain a PERMIT TO ACQUIRE (which is written POLICE corporation consent to enter the gun shop and get the exact gun you intend for), [[and before all of this]], you are required to fork out money for a safety course exclusively for the firearm you want to obtain for the legally acceptable purposes you intended it. After this, you are willingly, by law, subjected to regular and random POLICE checks on your property to cite the safety standards of firearm storage, which has to already be bought and installed. There is a lot of Wait Time (POLICE checks), Monies Invested (or wasted, if you're more Libertarian), Paper Pushing (i.e. Safety Cert; PTA; Licence; Gun Storage), and the costs involved to be member to the groups you are legally required to be regular attendee to keep your gun for its intended use there. That in and of itself is blackmail, to hoist the people's freedoms on a tight rope of government service to the same people, to whisk them way if the people aren't subjugated by an agreeing COUNCIL, STATE GOVERNMENT or relevant COMMITTEE who are responsible to sign the STATE onto whatever the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT demands irrespective of the people's desire for it or not...
