Kirby Triple Deluxe Playthrough | Part 6 - Level 6: Royal Road We are in the endgame now. Welcome to Level 6: Royal Road. By the way, have you noticed anything? The first letter of every level? F. L. O. W. E. R. They spell Flower. Funny ain't it? As far as this goes, think of it as a gauntlet. It's also here we get one of my favorite themes: Revenge of the Enemy. When you hear this, you know you are in for a a fight. The best part is that it has also been remixed too. That makes it even better. Also this stage is where we get not one but two EX Stages. They are needed in order to 100% the entire game. As far as the bosses go, we face off first against a Masked Dedede, under mind control by Taranza. Not hard but when he gets his revenge, watch out. He has a greater range so it can deal serious pain to you. Once Dedede falls, Taranza is shocked that he wasn't the chosen one and realizes that it's Kirby. From out of nowhere, Taranza gets struck down. Turns out the true mastermind reveals itself, Sectonia. Sectonia is disgusted by his failures and decides to take matters into her own hands. Sectonia is split into three phases. You'll need a strong powerup like hammer to deal major damage. It isn't until Phase 2 where if you are not careful, you can lose your powerup when you reach Phase 3. Phase 3 is where things can get dicey. But it isn't impossible. You just got to watch out for her attacks. Once you dodge them all, bring the pain. That's all there is. Sectonia is defeated but like many villains, she refuses to concede and plans to subjugate everything in her vicinity. Now the true final battle begins. See you in the finale for we now fight for the sake of Dreamland. This is part of my purpose to playthrough all six of these. We now reach the point where we see the story split from three perspectives. You can choose in any order you want but all paths will end leading to Narshe. The first one will focus on Locke. He returns to South Figaro only for him to find that the town has been occupied by the Empire. So now he needs to find a way out and that means having to be a thief. You first need to steal a merchant's outfit then explore until you are able to get a bottle and deliver it to someone. Then afterwards you need to steal a soldier's outfit and then find a means to head underground. It's here you meet Celes Chere, a Magitek Knight who has become a traitor to the Empire. We get her out and then find a means to escape the town. We head for the Figaro Mine and then have to contend with a Tunnel Armor. It's here we are introduced to Celes' gimmick. She uses Runic to absorb magic from enemies and it converts to MP. You'll need Runic so you can deal with the Tunnel Armor. With the Tunnel Armor falls, one story ends. The next one begins as we now focus on Sabin. He ends up in a different place, far from home. He encounters Shadow who says that there's an Imperial Camp nearby. He joins us but we know he will end up leaving us. He has a 1 in 128 chance of doing so. As we arrive, we meet Leo who is the opposite of Kefka. He's an honorable guy but once he leaves, Kefka decides to make things really screwed up. The Empire is dealing with resistance in Doma. The only thing stands in their way is a lone samurai: Cyan Garamonde. Cyan is a Samurai who has access to the Bushido skill. In the original SNES, PS1 and GBA versions, you had to use a gauge so you can use one of his moves. In here, you just pick the move and that's it. That's all there is. Sadly just as things get better for Cyan, Kefka decides to be a real scumbag by poisoning the river. By doing this, everyone who drinks the water end up getting poisoned. This includes the King of Doma as well as Cyan's wife and son. Barbaric. This drives Cyan into a rage and he goes on a warpath. It's here Sabin meets Cyan and the two team up to drive off the Empire's troops. They even use Magitek armors to take the fight to them. After escaping the camp, the three head into a strange forest. What they find is a train... a Phantom Train. Entering inside, Sabin and his allies journey to the front of the town while dealing with the many spirits there. At the end, we face off with the Phantom Train. Yes. You can pile drive it. I did it. It's not a hard fight. If you use a Phoenix down on it, the fight is over. It drops us off but not before it does one more thing. Bringing the souls of the dead into the afterlife. Cyan sees his wife and son there and he is able to say goodbye to them.
