ENDGAME BUILD UPDATE: Testing after patch in 187+ SOLO. How does the spec perform now in the 187 rift? As expected, not as fast as before. 00:55 changes to the bleeding edge node, 01:56 changes to gems in rings/belt, 02:38 rift opened, 03:17 mini boss one, 07:13 mini boss two, 18:35 final boss fight begins, 23:23 final boss dies, 23:35 final thoughts.
SMALL CHANGE TO THE BUILD: Gems swap to transfer time reduction in belt/rings, and switch the node for bleeding edge "Unstoppable Momentum" with "Will-o'-the-wisp". Bleeding edge ailments now switch to Burn / Stasis (SWEET). I think switching to 2-hander might also be ideal in the future. Assuming I can get dodge chance higher, the 2-hander swap might allow for a much higher damage threshold now. (original build before the nerf: https://youtu.be/YbxnyM5BlOk - more links for the build are listed below)
Preliminary testing suggests it might be MORE optimal to skip the mini bosses, and only clear side areas / vendor spawn / final boss. The mini boss HP is too high now relative to our damage output. It feels a LOT slower now. The final boss with 84 million HP took almost 5 minutes of rolling around to DPS down. Still need to test Untainted runs.
I also have not had a chance to change any gear from before the patch, so more optimizations are needed now. I will be looking for a big 2-hander with Aether dominant damage specifically, and gear rolled with transfer time reduction and high dodge chance.
WOW classic has CHALLENGE.
A full 33 minute video, showing a front to back experience in WoW classic. LVL 16 Human Warrior gameplay (I hit lvl 17 in the video). Running around in Redridge Mountains, showing the difficulty of the game. I also give some of my thoughts as I play through. Death one 1:22. Death two 5:16. Grouped up with Warlock 14:22.
Having a lot of fun playing this game again, what at TRIP. This world is full of social interactions again! It's great to see everyone back.
Vanilla WoW and DaoC were essentially the birthplace of my PVP experience. It was in those two games that I learned how to PVP in an MMORPG. I can't wait to get back in there, and start dueling people! hahaha.
I will be playing a Warrior and Rogue in classic. I usually play melee characters in MMOs, and in the original Vanilla WoW, I went Ret pally.
I have been trying to use this kite since I first arrived at the Temple. I finally cracked it!

A funny end to a kill streak. A giant, slow motion nova bomb to the face. LOL.
Also, the new pvp maps are SO SICK!!! LOVE THEM.

SWTOR. PVP. Recently I hit the level cap of 75 in Star Wars the Old Republic on my melee scoundrel, scrapper spec. This PVP video showcases a FRESH level 75 character, item rating 276, in 3 matches of unranked Warzone gameplay. The class design in this game is amazing and creates a lot of fun engagements. Almost every single class you choose is unique and has an exciting theme (I recommend using a class with a light saber for first time players, TONS of fun). 00:46 talent tree quick look, 01:58 match 1 starts, 05:01 good engagement begins, 10:46 score board match 1, 16:13 match 2 begins, 19:37 unexpected GOAL, 23:57 unexpected GOAL 2, 26:18 score board match 2, 30:38 match 3 begins, 32:24 GOAL, 36:44 LOL, 40:42 score board match 3.
Server: Star Forge (US)
Gear: blues/greens from warfront caches, pvping. fresh 75 character.
Spec: Scrapper Scoundrel
Tactical: Acid lash (only one I have been able to buy so far, will test others)
The specs are well documented by now, and the choices I made were mainly for warzone pvp (small scale and large). Damage reduction, movement clearing, mobility. The Scoundrel in general is very mobile, and extremely hard to kill.
Game is free to play, and now on Steam!
**I also have a dps Guardian I am leveling, will show pvp gameplay at some point (guardian pvp is REALLY fun).
**I recommend playing through at least ONE character through the full story from level 1, as it is a LOT of fun. The story quests in this game are top notch.
**Going dark side turns your character into a darker looking character...
