Three pro-Cuba protesters arrested, removed from Senator Bob Menendez's (D) Office
Three pro-Cuba activists were arrested and removed from Senator Bob Menendez's office on Thursday after refusing to leave while demanding the removal of Menendez from the Foreign Relations Committee, the cancellation of sanctions against Cuba, and the removal of Cuba from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list.
"We're doing this because we love our Cuban family," said Gail Walker of National Network on Cuba before being loaded into a police van. "We can't allow this blockade to continue."
Several Cuba supporters sang in support of the three arrestees, who were identified to News2Share as Gail Walker, Calla Walsh, and Aleja Rincon Lizarazo.

On Thursday, armed activists with pro-gun groups and several militias gathered in front of the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus to speak out against a litany of proposed gun control legislation on the state and federal level.
The rally - which was dubbed "We will not comply" - was in response to House Bill 228, a state law that Republicans attempted to amend to protect the right to carry certain firearms. The legislators accidentally miswrote the amendment to ban - rather than protect - the firearms in question, and the amended bill went into law.
The ban would have been effective as of Wednesday, but emergency legislation was passed to fix the error.
"The law in Ohio was amended, and so we need to be rejoiced in that fact," said Ryian Moore, a militia member based in Ohio. "If not, we would all be felons right now because we possess AR-15's."
Had the erroneous bill not been fixed with emergency legislation, the event "We Will Not Comply" would have been a civil disobedience event, where the weapons they carried would be freshly illegal.
The rallygoers numbered in the low hundreds. Approximately a dozen antifascist ("Antifa") protesters showed up to counter-demonstrate.
Antifa said they don't oppose gun rights on principle, but took exception to the III%'er militia groups that participated in the "We Will Not Comply" coalition and the waving of a Confederate flag by one participant.
"I don't even think if I asked any of them 'why are you here' they would have an answer," said Princess Kuevor of the counter-demonstrators. "We're here because of legislation that was attempted to be passed. Today, if they wouldn't have fixed it within the last three weeks, this would have been an act of civil disobedience. So I'm not sure why they're here."
"I was more determined than ever to get here because nobody should have to ask to be free," added Penny Rutter, a pro-gun activist.

Footage by News2Share's Ford Fischer was featured last night on PBS Newshour in their story entitled "How to fight extremist psychology with social media."
Their description: "The internet and interconnectedness of the world has aided the spread of extremist ideologies like white supremacy. But researchers are seeking ways to turn social media into a megaphone for facts and alternative narratives as a way to turn people away from violence. Science correspondent Miles O'Brien reports."

On Monday, Memorial Day, supporters of January 6 defendants chanted "Ashli Babbitt!" and marched from the United States Capitol to the jail, alongside a memorial stone for Ashli Babbitt, Benjamin Phillips, Roseanne Boyland, and Kevin Greeson, all who died at the Capitol.
ANC Commissioner Patricia Eguino was the one lone counter-protester at this demonstration (and one of the only counter-protesters on January 6, 2021) called Babbitt "part of a coup attempt."
"Traitors!" she yelled at them. "Insurrectionist losers!"
The supporters of January 6 participants marched to the DC jail, where they've been holding a vigil/protest for about two years now every night.
They continued to pray and chant "USA!" as Commissioner Eguino continued to play siren noises over them.

News2Share has obtained previously unreleased footage of a July 7, 2020 incident in which ATF Agent James Burk attempted to make contact with a member of the Columbus, Ohio community, who then called 911.
When Columbus PD officers Joseph Fihe and Kevin Winchell arrived, Agent Burk did not comply with their commands, even at gunpoint. The officers tased Agent Burk in the process of subduing him.
Agent Burk - who in 2015 was charged with shoplifting wine from a Kroger grocery story - is now suing the officers for excessive force.
