How to find "safer" water in a survival situation
This is a quick survival tip for finding "safer" water in rocky out croppings to drink in a survival situation. Often times you can find water seeping out of rocky out croppings. Many times this water has been filtered through the earth and has not been exposed to animal feces, etc and is "safer" to drink than open ground water. Nothing is 100% and you should always purify or boil if you have the means to do so. But if not, finding water like this may likely be more safe than open water that is more likely to have been contaminated by animal feces, etc. Before drinking try to do an evaluation of the surrounding area to determine if it is truly seeping from the ground or if it is from an open water source that is close by. If an open water source is near by be much more skeptical of its purity. If no open water source is nearby the chances of it being safer to drink are higher.
