With all the health stats that can be recorded, how do you make sense of them? This video is a demonstration of how I keep my health stats and what I provide to my doctors. I hope the method works for you if you don't presently have a good method. I didn't mention in the video - these stats are taken first thing in the morning after I wake up. I feed my pups and then take all my readings after a few minutes of sitting but with in 30 minutes of getting up. For BP, I sit at rest for 1 minute, take a measurement, wait 1 minute, and repeat three times. I average and that's what I record. Note: Don't look at the meter while taking your BP. That's stress, and will typically cause a higher reading than what your BP normally is. Remember to have your arm at heart height and have your palm open (no closed fist). Good luck and I hope this information helps you.

I attended the Saturday morning Wings Over Dallas Commemorative Air Force show. This was my first time I attended in the 20 years I've lived in Dallas. I left the show around 12:30pm. Shortly after I arrived home I received a text message from a friend of an air collision at the show. First prayers were for the safety of the pilots, crew, and spectators. The second thought I hoped for was whatever the accident involved, it wasn't the majestic B-17. Of course, we know it was. As I was leaving, I stopped at the B-17 booth, and for a moment I thought about paying the fee to get a ride on the bomber. Thinking, I'll have another chance some day. I also took Highway 67 home, where shortly after I departed, some of the wreckage fell back to the earth. My goal was to put a video on the Badland Aircraft users forum which a friend and I run. It was supposed to be one of those things I enjoy doing, making flight/flying event videos. This morning 11/13/22, making the video wasn't enjoyable. The families and all involved in this tragic event have my condolences and are in my prayers.

This is how our government treats its people. Take our money and then make it next to impossible to find out what we should be getting back, because simply, you can't talk to them!

Part 2 of 6 - Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 L70 (Agua Dulce / CA) to DAG (Barstow-Daggett / CA) flight. Includes using SkyVector, Avare, and Glass Cockpit for the flight. Real crazy landing at DAG with a high head wind.
Much of what is done in real flight can be done in today's flight simulators. Over 20 years ago I used Microsoft Flight Simulator to help me with landing practice as a student pilot. Today's flight simulators are much more advanced and now have the capability to interface with other applications such as Avare (which can be used in real flight).
If you'd like me to fly at some location in the US, post a comment and I'll see if I can fit it in.
Derogatory, foul, rude, or otherwise useless posts will not be published. I do accept constructive criticism and corrections. I do request that you post a link to your source for any corrections.
The sim flights I post and other aviation videos I'll be creating are for entertainment. Eventually much of what is done in the sim flights will be done during real flights of my planned Badland F5 Fujita ultralight. Topics will include flight planning, navigation, and other applicable information about ultralights and their capabilities.
Note that though today's flight simulators are very advanced, they are no substitute for professional training. Don't think you'll learn how to fly a simulator and instantly be able to fly a GA, LSA or even ultralight without instruction. Also, understand that I am not a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). This means use any methods or examples I show here are at your own risk.

All new content will be over on Rumble. Therefore comments have been turned off here. I spent a little over a year stripping down and completely rebuilding a FEMA travel trailer, customizing it for my needs. I learned a lot and am very pleased with the outcome.
Thank you to all those that actually watch the video and understand that I in no way am advising anyone to go live in a FEMA trailer without doing the research to pull out those products that they may feel uncomfortable with (manufactured with formaldehyde). For those others that are ignorant by not watching the video, by not doing any research, and showing their true ignorance with stupid comments, well here - go clean your own house and property. Below are sources of formaldehyde in and around the common American home:
1) Air Fresheners
2) Plug-In Fragrances
3) Oils that contain terpenes
4) Cleaning products with terpenes
5) Paper Towels
6) Cigarettes
7) E-Cigarettes
8)Furnaces, Stoves, Fireplaces, Water Heaters
9) Engine Exhaust
10) Dry cleaned clothing
11) Polyester, Cotton blends and wrinkle free bedsheets
12) Foam pillows
13) Upholstered Furniture and Curtains
14) Skin Care Products that use Formaldehyde as a preservative
15) Nail Polish
16) Nail Polish Remover
17) Hair straightener and Smoothing Products
18) Toothpaste!
19) Synthetic Perfumes
20) Baby Care Products!
21) Sanitary Wipes (including baby wipes)
22) Furniture made with Manufactured Wood (press board - just like cabinets in the FEMA trailers)
And there's plenty more. Our homes and cars are full of products made with formaldehyde. Most any product in our home that has manufacturing glues and pressed wood is made with Formaldehyde. You like that "new" car smell? Guess what you're breathing? The problem with the FEMA trailers is the manufacturers used sloppy controls and did not reduce as much as possible the use of the formaldehyde in manufacturing, those products were not allowed enough time to off gas, and most important - FEMA denied there was a problem with them. If after viewing my video and doing the research if you still feel that these trailers are full of formaldehyde, well, stupid is as stupid does. Ignorance is NOT bliss people - educate yourself because no one is going to do it for you.

Really, does the renovation ever end? Well yes, but improvements are always kept in sight and when possible, why not make that travel trailer better? I cover some additions to my travel trailer, installing a LPG/12V refrigerator/freezer and lithium ion batteries for complete off grid power.
