In this video I'm installing a Curt brand Trailer wiring Kit on a 2005 Ford Escape. Part number 56075. The kit is a T connector kit that ties into the tail lights with T connectors. There is no need to splice the taillight wires to connect this. First you remove the taillights, mount the relay box, and connect the chassis ground. Then route the wiring to the taillights and connect your taillights to the T connectors. The last step is to run the hot wire to the front of the vehicle and connect the inline fuse to the battery. Finally, tie all the wires up with zip ties, and test the lights. We ran into a little snag during this installation when we made an unexpected discovery.
Here's how to install the hitch - https://youtu.be/3QDWOfnxAGY

How about taking a mass produced item, and making it way better? This USB Port looks much cooler made from wood than plastic.

Here's a Sign I made for a local Colorado Springs online retailer. Its made from pallets reclaimed from the companies warehouse. There's a bunch of things going on in this sign from burning, staining, and LED Backlights. Check it out and let me know what you think.

I wanted to do a project my daughter could get involved in, and since its the Christmas season, I thought some ornaments would be fun. These are made from a branch that came down in our yard. Simple and fun to make. We had a blast making the homemade wooden Christmas Ornaments.

Having your workspace set up properly is important in being efficient in your work. Since I've been spending a lot of time at my CNC machine, I've found several things that needed to be organized in order to be more efficient. This video is a bit of a tour of my cnc workcenter. I've made several improvements, and want to show some of the things I've done to make that area more efficient. Hopefully you can take some of these ideas and implement some of these ideas in your shop.

A few of you have asked how I produce my videos, and what equipment do I use. I'll attempt to answer that question in this video. I use a Canon T4i DSLR, topped with a Rode Videomic, Shotgun microphone.
Here's a link to the Videomic Pro+ http://amzn.to/2D1f5d5
For editing, I use an old version of Sony Vegas. This will be an area of upgrade this year. I shoot all my video in 1080 at 30fps, and upload it with the same settings.
If you have other questions for some more Q&A, please let me know. I will try to do some more of these once in a while.
