The Mercedes-Benz Actros is a heavy duty truck introduced by Mercedes-Benz in 1995[citation needed]. It is normally used for long-distance haulage, heavy duty distribution haulage and construction haulage. It is available in weights starting at 18 tonnes[citation needed] and is powered by a V6 or V8 cylinder diesel engine with turbocharger and intercooler. The Mercedes Benz Actros is equipped with two types of engines. The OM 501 LA-541 and the OM 502 LA-542. The OM 501 is a 12-litre V6, and has outputs ranging from 310 HP to 460 HP. The engine management system employed by this engine is the PLD (Pumpe Leitung Duese-German abbr) which incorporates single plug-in pumps for each cylinder supplying fuel under pressure (up to 1,600 bar) to the injection valves. A control unit MR monitors all engine operating conditions via several sensors and varies the injection pressure to suit each operating condition.
The fourth version offers several engine options in either Euro-5 or Euro-6 compliant models, with various power output.
The second Actros generation comes with an electronic sequential gearbox that Mercedes-Benz has dubbed the "Telligent Gearbox". It pushes forward the principle used in some earlier Mercedes-Benz tractors; using the gearshift lever to command a pneumatically actuated system that changes the gears. The Telligent gearbox utilizes a computer, together with a load-sensing system on the fifth-wheel coupling, to estimate the proper gear that the truck must be in. For example, if you want to upshift, the computer estimates the load on the tractor and the current engine mode, and gives you the proper gear for decreasing engine RPM. On the other hand, if you want to downshift, the computer assumes you wish to overtake, and gives you a proper gear for acceleration.
There's an automatic version which works like the Tiptronic system found in Mercedes-Benz cars.
The fourth-version launched in 2011 offers exclusively the 12-speed powershift transmission.
The system consists of a small lever mounted under the right armrest and a flat switch underneath. The lever is slightly tilted, so that it matches the natural curve of the driver's hand when it's on the armrest. The lever has two buttons on either side. When at a standstill, the driver must push the left button, then (while holding it), push the lever forward and release it select fourth fast. Las puertas de mariposa del concepto se abren como una puerta de mariposa convencional en el lado del conductor y una puerta de mariposa suicida en el lado del pasajero.
El DeZir es el primero de una serie de coches conceptuales que están allanando el camino para el futuro de Renault tanto estética como tecnológicamente.
La serie está modelada según las etapas de la vida que un cliente de Renault podría encontrar. En palabras de Renault, sus clientes se enamorarán, descubrirán el mundo, formarán una familia, trabajarán, se divertirán y se volverán sabios.
El concepto DeZir simbolizaba la etapa de amor, el concepto Captur simbolizaba la etapa de descubrimiento, el R-Space representaba la etapa familiar y el Frendzy la etapa de trabajo.

A streetfighter is a sport bike that is customized by removing the fairing, and making other changes that result in an overall more aggressive look. Beyond simply removing fairings, specific changes that exemplify the streetfighter look are a pair of large, round headlights, tall, upright handlebars such as those on a motocross bike, and short, loud, lightweight mufflers. Streetfighters is also the name of a UK motorcycle magazine.
Later streetfighters used custom-built frames intended to overcome the weakness of the tubular steel frames of the early 4-cylinder superbikes of the 1970s and 1980s. Many of these frames turned out to be "beautifully crafted pieces of metallurgical art," perhaps only unintentionally. Many were also originally racing machines.

El Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Proyecto 191) es un automóvil de cinco puertas del segmento C producido por el fabricante italiano Alfa Romeo. Se presentó en 2009 en el 80º Salón Internacional de Ginebra, y se comercializa desde 2010, coincidenciendo con el centenario de Alfa Romeo. Sustituye al Alfa Romeo 147 y durante su desarrollo su código interno fue progetto 940.
La longitud del Giulietta es de 4,35 metros, estrenando la nueva plataforma modular compacta de Fiat Group Automobiles denominada C-Evo, que se espera sea adoptada a partir de 2013 por la próxima generación del Fiat Bravo y Lancia Delta. Esta misma plataforma, ensanchada y alargada, servirá de base para el futuro Alfa Romeo Giulia.
Es el automóvil más seguro del segmento C según los resultados de las pruebas de seguridad pasiva realizadas por el organismo europeo Euro NCAP, obteniendo un 97% de protección para adultos.1 El equipamiento de seguridad de serie incluye además sistema Alfa DNA, diferencial electrónico Q2 con DST, control de estabilidad de Alfa Romeo VDC (con ASR y hill holder), sistema Prefill, 6 airbags, cinturones delanteros con pretensor doble y asientos delanteros con sistema “antiwiplash”.
Se completan la dotación de serie en todos los modelos con climatizador manual, llantas de 16 pulgadas, cristales delanteros eléctricos y ordenador de viaje. El sistema Blue&Me también estará disponible de serie o como opción en toda la gama.
En el lanzamiento estarán disponibles 5 motores dotados de turbo, todos homologados para cumplir las normas Euro V y equipados de serie con Start&Stop para la reducción de consumos y de emisiones. Todas las cajas de cambio serán de 6 velocidades. Con algunas motorizaciones se podrá escoger opcionalmente la caja de cambios automática de doble embrague en seco Alfa TCT.

Para la presentación internacional del Giulietta, Alfa Romeo utilizó el nuevo eslogan "Senza cuore saremmo solo macchine" ("Sin corazón, solo seríamos máquinas"), reinterpretación del usado anteriormente por la marca "Cuore sportivo" ("Corazón deportivo").
