Dr William Ghali, MD, is the scientific director of the O’Brien Institute for Public Health at the University of Calgary. Dr. Ghali oversaw the recent O'Brien Institute scientific report on water fluoridation provided to the Calgary city council.
- Dr Aravind Ganesh, MD, is a neurology specialist and a resident with the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Calgary. Dr. Ganesh was a contributor to the recent O'Brien Institute scientific report on water fluoridation.

Michael Connett: The first research indicating that fluoride could affect the brain was in the 1930s, but the findings on neurological symptoms were overlooked at the time.
In the 1990s, scientists in China began studying the effects of elevated levels of fluoride and children’s IQ.
In 2006, the National Research Council (NRC) flagged neurotoxicity as a potential problem for fluoride exposures and concluded that fluoride does interfere with the functions of the brain.
That finding by the NRC spurred a lot more interest in the subject of fluoride neurotoxicity.
Today, over 400 studies have found that #fluoride is a neurotoxin.
