This is video #101 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy IV for the PC. This is episode 19 of the third playthrough. I am playing on Hard mode. They fought Bahamut so that Rydia could learn to summon him. They also finished finding the missing Eidolons and acquired another Piercing Magic augment. Then, they began exploring the Lunar Subterrane. They defeated the White Dragon and got the Muramasa for Edge. Now, the party will continue exploring the Lunar Subterrane. Lunar Surface: The party resumes on the Lunar Surface just outside the Crystal Palace. They go inside. Crystal Palace (time 0:53): On 2F, the party takes the teleporter to the Lunar Subterrane. Lunar Subterrane (time 1:33): On B1, the party goes south. They take the stairway down to floor B2. The party arrives in the southeast section of B2. To the east, there is a hidden passage leading north. Kain reaches Level 62. Just north of the southeast section, the party finds a side path to the west. It leads around to a chest that contains a Flame Whip, the second-best whip for Rydia. Look out for encounters with two Blue Dragons. They can decimate the party with Icestorm attacks. Rosa reaches Level 63. Cecil reaches Level 64. Rydia reaches Level 63. The eastern path leads north to a small room in the northeast. Another hidden path leads directly west to the northwestern room. Edge reaches Level 63. A chest in the northwest room contains a Dragon Shield. Kain equips this for now for its elemental resistances. This frees him to equip the Genji Helm and Armor for now. The party heads downstairs to the main chamber on B3. In the south, a hidden passage leads to the eastern room. A chest in the eastern room contains a Dragon Helm. Kain equips the Dragon Helm. He switches to the Onion Shield because it prevents status ailments. Another hidden passage to the east leads to the southern room. Kain reaches Level 63. In the southern room, chests contain a Dragon Mail and Dragon Gloves. Kain equips the Dragon Mail. Back in the main room, the party heads downstairs to floor B4. They arrive in the northwest on the top level. Rosa reaches Level 64. Rydia reaches Level 64. In the northeast on the top level, a chest contains Artemis Arrows. Cecil reaches Level 65. In the west on the middle level, the party enters a small room. The chest within contains an Elixir. In the southeast on the bottom level, the party enters a larger room. The northeast chest in this room contains a White Fang. The western chest contains an X-Potion. The southwest exit leads to the southwest section, bottom level, of the main part of B4. Lightning has gathered head accessory upgrades in Luxerion, the Dead Dunes, and the Wildlands. Now, it is time for her to move on to the last major region, Yusnaan. In the North Station of Luxerion, she boards the train for Yusnaan (time 0:45). A cutscene plays to introduce us to Yusnaan and its icy patron (time 1:52). Really, Snow, what is wrong with you? After the scenes, it is time to explore Yusnaan (time 5:43). Below the stairway southwest of the station, a treasure ball is in hiding (time 6:33). It upgrades the Promised Necklace to the Promised Necklace+. It now has Defender Lv. 2, rather than Defender Lv. 1. Accessory upgrade #22. Another treasure ball is behind the guard station south of the train station (time 7:42). It contains Blitz Lv. 2. From the top level of the Banquet of the Lord restaurant, Lightning can drop over the southwest railing to find a treasure ball on an awning (time 8:07). The treasure ball extorts 6 EP to open. It upgrades the Locket Pendant to the Locket Pendant+. It still has Quickhitter, which increases the number of physical combo finishers. It now lowers max HP by 50% rather than 60%. Accessory upgrade #23. In the Aromatic Market to the southeast, the Schrodinger drops some Civet Musk for the "Family Food" quest (time 9:03). After climbing some crates, Lightning can find a treasure ball (time 9:45). It upgrades the Wolf's Emblem to the Wolf's Emblem+. It now increases Strength by 18% rather than 15%. Accessory upgrade #24. Atop some stuff to the north, there is a treasure ball (time 10:40). It once contained Flanitor Notes. Now, it contains a Silvered Medal. To the south along Central Ave., a man named Gregory will have info about a young pickpocket (time 11:02). In Cactuar Plaza, Lightning finds a Patron's Personal Guard and some Flanitors who think they can arrest her (time 11:43). Ha! In the little gap to the south of the nearby stairway, there is a treasure ball that once contained Patron's Personal Guard notes (time 12:48). Now, it contains a Silvered Medal. Up the stairs, Lightning can find a young trumpeter named Morris at the east end of Armor Alley (time 13:14). He issues the quest "Play It for Me." He wants her to get the contents of three musical treasure balls and gives her the key to them. In the south of the Coliseum Square, there is a musical treasure ball (time 16:45). It contains the Nostalgic Score: Chorus. In the northwest of the Coliseum Square, there is a treasure ball containing Dispel Lv. 2 (time 17:10). Atop a ladder southeast of the giant Cactuar statue, there is another musical treasure ball (time 18:02). It holds the Nostalgic Score: Refrain. At the Fountain Square, Lightning chats with the chanteuse Olga (time 18:51). She issues the quest "Songless Diva" to find her partner, Berdy. Then, Lightning chases down Berdy, who is lurking nearby (time 20:52). Oh no, some frightful monster has stolen his music satchel! To the south in the Fountain Square, Lightning can get pickpocketed by Pickett (time 22:50). The aim is to chase him down and corner him. This will enable a quest. In the Side Alley, there is a treasure ball (time 23:37). It used to contain the Mage's Gloves. Now, it holds 1,500 gil. Along the western wall of the Side Alley, there is a chocobo girl poster with a Chocobo Girl's Phone No. (time 23:49). At the target marker, the gate to the Augur's Quarter is sealed shut (time 24:55). The Knowledgeable Tourist nearby will provide a hint about the Tour Guide. On the fountain to the west, there is a treasure ball (time 25:31). It used to contain the Thorn of Aggression. Now, it contains 1,500 gil. The Tour Guide is banging a portable drum set back to the east a little bit in Pleasure Alley (time 26:06). Among veiled threats, he sells the Sneaking-In Special Ticket for 2,000 gil. Then, Lightning will have to get to the industrial area gate by 6:00 PM, or 18:00. Along the way north through Central Ave., Lightning finds Gregory and tells him about getting pickpocketed by Pickett (time 30:04). He issues the quest "Stolen Things." He wants Lightning to give Pickett the Father's Letter. Down in the Lower City, Lightning will find the thieves who stole Berdy's satchel in the northeast (time 33:48). It is a pack of Gremlins. Once they are down, Light gets the Music Satchel. To the west, near the entrance to the major route, she will find a treasure ball that once contained the Giant's Vambrace (time 35:35).
