Pidgin English is used by many African countries to allow different tribes to communicate between each other. Even though there are differences between Pidgin English used for example by Nigerian vs Ghanian person - they are very similar and we can understand each other. What I didn't anticipate is that my Polish husband would have such a hard time understanding Pidgin English.
