This is a comparison of the Playstation, and Sega Saturn versions of Die Hard Trilogy. As usual, this isn't a vid for fanboy stupidity. Each system was great in it's own way and both had unique and varied libraries. I made this vid, because I happen to have both versions on hand at the moment, so I decided to show the differences.
Overall, I found that the PS1 version looked better, ran smoother, and controlled better. The Saturn version had some good stuff in it too (like a better save system), but the controls felt a little more sluggish, especially in Die Hard 2. However, since that portion of the game supports a light gun, it's not a big deal if you have the Stunner or the Guncon.
There's not really much else to say except, it's not like DHT is a top tier showcase for either console. Though the Saturn version is a little worse than the PS1 version, it's probably more to the development difficulties of that system.
Fanboys of either system, take a chill pill. This isn't proof that one system is better than the other in any way shape or form. This is just one game running better on a system that was easier to develop for.
NOTE: I edited out the load screens in the Saturn version of the game. The PS1 version loads the opening cut scene and the level in one long load screen, but the Saturn version loads the opening cut scene, and then loads in the level after that. I just edited out the load screen
