MSP Race Day at Suvarnabhumi
It's Sunday and it's a hot day in Bangkok, but for the die-hards, we're out on the MSP (Motor Sport Park) track at Suvarnabhumi

Ok, so the first thing you're asking is what is the Motor Sport Park Suvarnabhumi? Well, it's a place where you can let your inner speed demon lose on a tight race track near the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. They host a selection of training and testing rides for various riding groups in the Bangkok province. It is a short and very tight track, but aside from the noise limit issues, you are free from law entanglements and can let loose your inner Michael Dunlop.
To be fair, this is the first time I've been to the MSP, and I'm not into the whole speed racer thing, but it was a lot of fun catching up with our crew from the MotoLOS riders group again. I was thrilled to see Koi join us today as well considering she said she couldn't make it. One of our group on the HD48 wasn't allowed to ride his bike as his exhaust was over 95dB.
Watching Por ride his Street Bob side saddle was very funny, but he did say it was the only way he could get the thing to negotiate the tight turns. I did a few laps on the Vulcan S, but it too isn't designed for race conditions. All up, everyone who came enjoyed themselves and we finished off the day with lunch at "The Nine" on Rama 9.

I chose early retirement over working the 40 40 40 plan and now I'm living stress-free as an Aussie expat living in Thailand with my Thai girlfriend. Our Video Blog covers the typical things we find ourselves doing as we build our life together living in the suburbs of Bangkok. My fiancée is a post-op ladyboy and we have been together since 2009. I finally moved to Thailand in September 2016 because the 8 years of travelling to see her were taking its toll. We hope we will give you a unique perspective on Thailand life and lifestyle as we go about our daily life and sometimes explore the Land of Smiles.
