Space Haven is a bit of a combination of RimWorld and Space Station 13 with a little bit of fleet management built in. It's a small indie studio, Bug Byte LTD., but they're making good progress 4 years into development and it's getting close to release on early access for public consumption.

Do I think you should get it? Yes, but I'd say wait until it's released on early access this year sometime (should be $20 USD).
