I took some video of the sun across the sky and sped it up so you can see the sun did not move in a straight path! I compared it to some moon footage I took a week later and the moon does move smoothly using the same camera and tripod, so weird! The strangeness can only be seen on sped up footage though, normally you can't look at the sun that long and will not notice slight variations in movement if they happen very slowly.
