OpenCue is an open source render management system. You can use OpenCue in visual effects and animation production to break down complex jobs into individual tasks.
In this session, members of the OpenCue Steering Committee give an update on the project's development and how it's being used in production today. A large portion of the session is allotted for attendees to ask the team questions and give feedback which will be used to evaluate development priorities."

Come join us as we sit down with the incredible team of Nexus Studios who worked in conjunction with Amazon Studios and the cast of Critical Role to create a first-of-its-kind event by bringing life to the beloved characters Grog & Scanlan. We’ll be discussing the process behind this project and what it was like creating real-time puppetry during live broadcasting.

- Orchestrating many versioned assets across shots with minimal resources
- Reproducing output: immutability and idempotence
- Integration with asset databases
- Multiple schedulers

Andrew Graham has a deep interest in the convergence of automation and tools that allow beautiful images to be realised with efficiency. He is the founder of Open Firehawk and a senior FX TD at Rising Sun Pictures. Over 22 years in computer graphics he has contributed to Hollywood film, motion graphics and architectural visualisation. He previously worked for ILM, Weta Digital, Sony Pictures Imageworks and Image Engine. He has contributed to films such as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Dr Strange, Only The Brave, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and The Hunger Games.
