Then the conversation shifts to the dreaded tax question, and I run down the basics of how crypto is taxed in the US and how that applies to Splinterlands DEC and rewards cards.
It was a pretty fast-paced show, and I think it went pretty well for my first interactive streaming broadcast.

The Trump tax plan was leaked today, and I wanted to dispell the myth that the government is going to double your standard deduction.it's not true.
There is an increase, but it's about 16%.
And the cost of that is that most itemized deductions are going to be eliminated.
Of course, this is just a proposal and Congress passes the tax laws. So we will have to wait and see how this develops.
