With the cheap and nasty banana muffler installed on the 66cc 2 Stroke, I take it out for some full throttle runs to see if I can get any more out of the top end on what turns out to be the last ride of this engine on the Mk5 frame. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tSrfvugdf4
I've been trying to make my maps look more dynamic and one of my pet peeves has always been those torches that don't flicker. EVER. So now they do. By ripping the graphics from the tileset and copying into the character set, I'm effectively replacing the walking animation with flickering flames and puffs of smoke.

Part 3 of my microphone setup sound test. Going through the twisties!
This road was actually part of the on-road assessment in order to pass my Learner Permit course. Straight into the deep end, first time on the road on a bike and straight up to 100 kilometres an hour. The bikes we were riding for the assessment were Kawazaki Z250SL's.

The Mk5 BT100 Motorised Bike Is BACK!
However for the time being it is not a hybrid - I haven't been able to fix the electric front hub yet (ok, I haven't even tried!) but to get rolling there is a regular wheel back on the front.
Even with the 32 tooth sprocket, the BT100 still has plenty of torque to get up the hills, even if I have to pedal. Pedalling SUCKS! I have been considering putting the stock 44 tooth sprocket back on which will compensate for the lost low end torque, if I can't find a solution for the front hub in the long term.

This bike is so easy to ride in all conditions it almost feels like cheating!
And when you finally get that sweet, sweet tailwind, you can actually DO the posted freeway speed limit!

This trail is far beyond my capabilities and level of fitness. It is a slow and cautious trek along a mountain trail that is wet, muddy and extremely slippery. I gave up when this bush walking trail dropped off so steeply it looked like a cliff edge. Still, the scenery is beautiful and I hope you enjoy this ride along.

No commentary ride through Victorian country back roads.
Leaving the M1 Freeway taking the Pakenham exit, I finally took that mysterious Bessie Creek Road that I've always known about but never actually been down. It looks nice and twisty on the map, but the gravel section was loose and left much to be desired.
I left the GoPro running until it ran out of memory and battery in Alexandra, so this is part one of a rather big trip, including the Black Spur, the famous road and incidentally the one I learned to drive on, as I grew up in Healesville, a once quiet country town that has turned into a disgusting hive of a tourist trap. Yuck!
My Purple Panda lav mic returned absolutely unusable audio yet again, it is so utterly useless that it's going IN THE BIN! Or maybe I'll set fire to it, I don't know.
