- Salt : 2/3 tsp or to taste
- King's Cumin : 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder : 1/2 tsp
- Chili Powder : 2/3 tsp
- Chaat Masala : 1 & 1/2 tsp
- Melted Ghee : 2 tbsp (or edible oil instead)
- Water : As required
- De-skinned Green Lentil (Moong Dal) : 1 cup (Soaked for 2-3 hours)
- Garlic Cloves : 3-4 nos.
- Ginger : 1 inch
- Spring Onion : 1 cup (finely chopped)
- Green Chilies : 4-5 nos. (finely chopped)
- Garam Masala : 1 tsp
- Asafoetida : 2-3 pinch
