Previously, Link visited the six Eye Reefs scattered around the Great Sea and found the treasures in their Treasure Charts, which were specialty charts. Now, he will gather Hero's Bow upgrades and then do some new sidequests on Windfall Island.
Windfall Island:
Link resumes on Windfall Island. He boards the King of Red Lions. Then, he conducts the Ballad of Gales and fast-travels to Mother & Child Isles.
Mother & Child Isles (time 0:54):
Link arrives at a fairy fountain in the hollow inside Mother Isle. When he comes here after completing the Forsaken Fortress, a scene takes place with the Queen of Fairies. She imbues his Hero's Bow with new powers. He can now shoot Fire Arrows and Ice Arrows! Note that it costs magic to use these functions. Even so, the queen is a bit creepy.
After exploring the hollow, Link returns to the King of Red Lions. With the Ballad of Gales, he fast-travels to Greatfish Isle.
Greatfish Isle (time 5:18):
Link sets sail northwest. He passes through the Three-Eye Reef square to the west on his way to the Western Fairy Island square.
Western Fairy Island (time 6:06):
Link lands on the island. The entrance to the fairy fountain is blocked by fire. To extinguish the flames, Link hits the switch with the Skull Hammer. Then, he goes inside.
When he approaches the fairy fountain, the Great Fairy speaks to him. She upgrades his arrow capacity to a maximum of 60.
Link goes back outside. Aboard the King of Red Lions, he conducts the Ballad of Gales to fast-travel to the Tower of the Gods.
Tower of the Gods Square (time 8:43):
Link sets sail east. He passes through the Eastern Triangle Island square on his way to the Thorned Fairy Island square.
Thorned Fairy Island (time 9:48):
After taking out a prickly enemy ship, Link lands on Thorned Fairy Island. The entrance to the fairy fountain is blocked by thorny vines. To get rid of them, Link hits the three switches with the Skull Hammer.
Afterwards, he goes inside. When he approaches the fountain, a scene takes place with the Great Fairy. She upgrades his arrow capacity to a maximum of 99. Very good! Too bad Link could not get these upgrades as soon as he got the Hero's Bow.
Outside, Link boards the King of Red Lions. With the Ballad of Gales, he fast-travels to Windfall Island.
Windfall Island (time 12:37):
Link lands at the docks and conducts the Song of Passing to make it nighttime. After saving, he heads into town. He has already gotten the Windmill to start turning, which is a prerequisite to what he is about to do.

The party is currently working on "Peril on Gorgon", the first DLC expansion. Previously, the party explored Gorgon Canyon between the Sprat Shack and the Office of Creative Incubation. They discovered the Gorgon Ruins, the remnants of an employee housing district. In the Economy Flats, they found the Engraved Flask for the task quest "Love Is the Plan the Plan Is Death". They also discovered Human Inquiry & Auditing, or HIA, on the northern ridge. They returned the Engraved Flask to Leonora in the Sprat Shack and concluded her task. In a cave past the Gorgon Ruins, the party found the Secret Hideout and began the side quest "A Dialog Between Dead Men". The party found one of the quest's objectives, "The Exhilarating Adventures of Archibald Excelsior, Issue #3", near HIA's Maintenance Entrance. Then, the party continued southeast and found the Office of Creative Incubation, or OCI. Now, the party will search OCI and look for a way to open the way to Olivia Ambrose's office in the Synthesis and Manufactory Center for the "Peril on Gorgon" main quest "The Ones Who Walk Away From Gorgon".
Gorgon Canyon:
The party resumes just outside the canyon floor entrance to OCI. They will be a few terminals to hack into, so they fast-travel back to the Unreliable to pick up Vicar Max. There will also be something helpful at the Sprat Shack.
Unreliable (time 1:36):
Davilas fast-travels to the Sprat Shack Exterior. He brings along Parvati and Vicar Max.
Gorgon Canyon (time 2:30):
After updating Max's gear a little, the party enters the Sprat Shack.
Sprat Shack (time 3:33):
The party heads down to the bar and then goes up to Lucky Montoya's room on floor 3/4. They find a few documents on the board along the eastern wall: "List of Expenses", "Theories & Leads", and "Persons of Interest". On Lucky's table, the party finds the "Note About a Key". Sounds like he gave Lex a key as collateral.
The party goes down to the bar and talks to Lex. Since the party finished Leonora's task, Lex will comment on it and give them an Algae Lager. The party asks about Lucky's key. If the party completed all of Lilya Hagen's faction quests to her satisfaction, they can get the key from Lex for free. They can also get it for free with Intimidate 100 or Lie 100. The party chooses to bribe her 2,723. She gives them the Maintenance Room Key quest item.
The party returns to the surface and leaves the Sprat Shack.

Previously, Heorot carried out Treasures of Aht Urhgan Mission 12: "Royal Puppeteer", Aht Urhgan Mission 13: "Lost Kingdom", Aht Urhgan Mission 14: "The Dolphin Crest", and Aht Urhgan Mission 15: "The Black Coffin". He located the ghost ship named the Ashu Talif (Black Coffin) and defeated some of its spectral crew. Then, when he returned home to Bastok, a scene with Iroha took place for the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel missions "Ever Forward" and "The Endless Sky". Now, Heorot will continue the Aht Urhgan and Rhapsodies of Vana'diel missions in Al Zahbi.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He heads out.
Bastok Mines (time 0:50):
Heorot visits Zopago at the Chocobo Stable. He gets the Day 89 status report for his chocobo, Amber Beauty, and gives her some care.
Afterwards, Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to Aht Urhgan Whitegate, West Aht Urhgan.
Aht Urhgan Whitegate (time 5:31):
Heorot is currently on Aht Urhgan Mission 16: "Ghosts of the Past" and the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel mission "Aphmau's Light".
In Salaheem's Sentinels, Heorot talks to Naja Salaheem at I-10. A scene takes place. Aht Urhgan Mission 16: "Ghosts of the Past" complete!
Aht Urhgan Mission 17: "Guests of the Empire". Heorot has received an invitation to the palace. He must procure a suitable chest piece before Naja will deign to accompany him there. I personally think that artifact armor should qualify, but what do I know? So, Heorot now has a little shopping to do.
After the scene, Heorot exits west at E-9 to Al Zahbi.
Al Zahbi (time 17:28):
Heorot tries to visit a couple of shops in search of the right clothing. It turns out they are guilds that he cannot purchase from because he is not a member.
So, Heorot returns to the Aht Urhgan Whitegate by the exit at K-8/L-8.
Aht Urhgan Whitegate (time 20:21):
Heorot checks Bajahb's armor shop at J-11, but this shop does not sell anything suitable.
So, Heorot visits the auction house at E-6 in the northwest. He splurges on an Aketon. A hundred grand. Whew. Well, maybe he can sell it second-hand later.
With the Aketon equipped, Heorot returns to Naja Salaheem at I-10 in Salaheem's Sentinels. She seems less displeased than usual. She will meet Heorot by the Imperial Whitegate.
Heorot examines the Imperial Whitegate at L-8. A scene takes place for Rhapsodies of Vana'diel mission "Aphmau's Light". He meets with Aphmau. "Aphmau's Light" complete! Heorot obtains a Cipher of Nashmeira's Alter Ego II.
Rhapsodies of Vana'diel mission "Reunited" begins. Heorot must rendezvous with Aphmau in Walahra Temple.

Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He picks up a few Merit Point upgrades.
Then, he heads out to Bastok Mines.

Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at G-5. Up the hill, he examines the Undulating Confluence at G-5 to enter Escha - Ru'Aun.

Heorot arrives at H-11. After summoning his Trust NPCs, he hunts some more Eschan Il'aern in this zone. A holiday event is boosting experience, limit, and capacity points earned.
Heorot accrues 4 Job Points for an overall total of 108 Job Points earned. He has a current total of 8 Job Points.
When he has finished for now, he uses the Undulating Confluence at H-11 to return to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.
Misareaux Coast (time 1:00:29):
Heorot arrives at G-5. Just down the hill to the west, he uses Home Point #1 at G-5 to teleport to Port Jeuno.
Port Jeuno (time 1:01:07):
Heorot trades his Crests to Shami at H-8 for storage.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Markets.
Bastok Markets (time 1:02:57):
Heorot trades his Copper A.M.A.N. Voucher to Isakoth at E-11. In Mjoll's Goods, he sells his loot to Olwyn at E-11.

After donating some crystals to Achantere, T.K., at C-8 for rank points, Heorot talks to Grilau at D-8. He takes on San d'Oria Mission 3-1: "Infiltrate Davoi". Prince Trion himself wants Heorot's assistance.
Heorot enters Chateau d'Oraguille at J-7/J-6.
Chateau d'Oraguille (time 3:53):
A scene takes place when Heorot opens the Prince Royal's Room door at H-7. Prince Trion instructs Heorot to go to Davoi. Heorot is to find Royal Knight Quemaricond and bring the Royal Knights' Davoi Report back to Trion.
Heorot talks to Faurie at I-9 and chooses to leave the chateau.
Northern San d'Oria (time 7:11):
Heorot uses the Survival Guide at E-8 to teleport to Davoi, Norvallen.
Davoi (time 8:00):
When Heorot arrives in Davoi, another scene with Rochefogne and Vauderame takes place.
After the scene, Heorot gains control at J-7 just inside Davoi.
To the west, Heorot finds the scout Quemaricond running in the vicinity of H-7. If your level is low, look out for the Orcs. Quemaricond readily gives Heorot the Royal Knights' Davoi Report temporary key item to deliver to Prince Trion.
Heorot uses the Survival Guide at J-7 to teleport back to Northern San d'Oria.
Northern San d'Oria (time 13:11):
Heorot enters Chateau d'Oraguille at J-7/J-6.
Chateau d'Oraguille (time 14:16):
When Heorot opens the Prince Royal's Room door at H-7, another scene with Prince Trion takes place. His Highness is quick to act on the contents of the report. San d'Oria Mission 3-1 complete!
Heorot talks to Faurie at I-9 to leave the chateau.
Northern San d'Oria (time 16:36):
Heorot donates a couple more crystals to Achantere, T.K., at C-8 to earn more rank points. Then, he talks to Grilau at D-8. He is going to skip San d'Oria Mission 3-2: "The Crystal Spring", at least for now. That requires some fishing.
Instead, Heorot accepts San d'Oria Mission 3-3: "Appointment to Jeuno". Mission 3-3 is very similar for all three nations. Heorot is to go to Jeuno as an ambassadorial attaché at San d'Oria's embassy. Before he leaves, he needs to talk to Monarlais Halver at the chateau for details.
Heorot enters Chateau d'Oraguille at J-7/J-6.
Chateau d'Oraguille (time 19:17):
First, Heorot talks to Monarlais Halver at I-9. Heorot must talk to King Destin to receive a letter of introduction.

Previously, Davilas carried out Quest 603 to unlock the Death Master vocation, Quest 661 to unlock the Magic Swordfighter vocation, and Quest 694 to unlock the Pirate vocation. In addition, he carried out Quest 047 and became a confirmed Woodworker. Now, Davilas will get started on the Version 4.0 storyline.

On the northern side of the central fountain, Davilas talks to Donton on a bench at D-4/E-4. He says "Yes". This triggers a scene with Sage Horro. The trouble begins when Horro starts playing with the Silver Box. Gee, thanks, Horro!
Davilas has a strange experience in the void.
Domineus Manor (time 9:03):
The next sequence of cutscenes takes place in the Domineus Manor. Davilas meets Melearde and her cute cat Charcoal, whom we saw in the Version 3 epilogue. Unfortunately, a certain Cuord is not so welcoming! Davilas loses the Silver Box.
After the scenes, Davilas gains control in a storage room at C-3 on floor B1 (time 13:41). The exit door is locked.
The only thing to do is rest in the bed at C-3. This triggers another event. Melearde comes to visit.
When the scene is over, Davilas regains control in the storage room. The next objective is to go to Cuord's chamber on floor 3F.
Davilas leaves the storage room. He follows the stairways up through the manor.
At C-4 on floor 3F, Davilas takes the door to Cuord's chamber. This triggers another scene with Melearde. The next objective is to talk to Jerinan by the entrance on floor 1F.
After the scene, Davilas regains control in Cuord's chamber. He makes his way downstairs.
On floor 1F, Davilas talks to Jerinan by the front door at E-7. This triggers another cutscene sequence with Melearde.
Davilas regains control near Jerinan after the event. The next objective is to talk to Hermi by the door to the terrace on floor 3F.

Previously, Psaro began exploring the area unlocked with the Pink Travelite, the Circle of Fortitude, Middle Echelon. Percival asked him to go to the southern fortress to defeat Darius the Shadethrower, who is keeping the land shrouded in darkness. Psaro explored the area as far south as the Warehouse Roof. Now, he will continue exploring the area and reach the southern fort. When he arrives at the fort, he will begin exploring the lower floors.

Previously, Sora explored Layer 1 of Olympus Coliseum. Now, he will move on to Layer 2.
From the Save Room, Sora teleports to Layer 2 (time 0:52). We're treated to another scene with Hades. Then, we join Sora as he arrives in Layer 2.
Afterwards, Sora begins exploring Layer 2 (time 1:50). He starts in the center room, but he cannot go west.
A tutorial awaits in the northeast (time 2:19). It covers Licenses, items that Sora can find by breaking blox or defeating enemies. Licenses are single-use items that can help Sora in the Coliseum. Some are used in battle, others in the field. He gains a few licenses to start with: a Strength-L, a Defense-L, a Scout-L, and a Break-L.
While fighting through this floor, Sora gains another upgrade to the Lady Luck Keyblade (time 4:09).
All of the other ways seem blocked, so Sora returns to the center room (time 5:05). As he arrives, he meets up with the powerful Hercules, the Coliseum champ. They decide to team up. We are now introduced to Team Combat. However, Sora must stay alive, or it will be game over.
Then, Sora and Herc are thrust into an event battle (time 7:50). After Sora acts, Hercules will attack. As with Sora, the player can use timed button presses to make Hercules combo.
Afterwards, Sora and Herc discuss who might want to harm Olympus Coliseum (time 8:11). Time to go drop in on Hades. Herc lets Sora take the lead.
Then, we gain control of Sora again in the middle of Layer 2 (time 9:26). Hercules can break down certain walls that have been put in the path.
In the western room, there is a rare prize block containing a Defense +1 (time 10:44).
In the southeastern room, there is a rare prize block containing a Lucky Strike stat chip (time 12:46).
In the stat matrix, Sora unlocks the Prize Cheat (time 13:20). It looks kind of like a gearshift diagram. Sora can use it to increase the number of prizes Sora gets, but it also increases enemy strength. Worse, it does not affect SP or score prizes.
A scene occurs as Sora approaches the southwest room (time 14:03). He enlists Cloud from Final Fantasy VII to deal with Sora and Hercules.
Sora finds the portal to the next layer in the southwest room (time 15:44). The Moogle at the Moogle Shop gives Sora some goodies: a Charge-L, an Auto-Block-L, a Regen-L, and an Auto-Life-L. Yay, freebies!
Then, Sora continues directly to Layer 3 (time 17:01). Hades is still schmoozing Cloud into going after Sora and Hercules.
Sora and Herc arrive in Layer 3 (time 18:21). There is a tutorial about Menaces. These are swirling pools of shadow containing powerful foes that will relentlessly chase Sora around the floor. The Menace on this floor is a large group of enemies with a Large Body.
In the southeast room, a rare prize block contains a Thunder +1 (time 21:04).
While fighting here, Sora gains a Level Up chip (time 25:27). After the next battle, he installs it to reach Level 25 (time 25:47).
In the northwestern room, a rare prize block contains an Aero +1 (time 28:03).
A scene occurs as Sora enters the north-central room (time 28:14). They run into Cloud, who challenges them to fight.
Then, it is time to fight Cloud (time 28:42). The main problem with him is Omnislash. An Auto-Block-L will help nullify that threat.
Another scene takes place after the battle (time 29:23). Good ol' Hades butts in. Looks like you fought for the wrong team, Cloud. Again.
Sora regains control afterwards (time 32:31). He finds the portal leading to the next layer (time 32:47). He saves in the Save Room.
Next time, Sora and Hercules will continue on to Layer 4.
