EN: Hej Sokoły or "Hey Falcons" (Ukrainian: Гей соколи, Polish: Hej Sokoły) is a song popular in Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia, Belarus and eastern Czech Republic. The lyrics exist in several versions about a Ukrainian girl to whom her betrothed, a cossack, says goodbye for the last time. Although its exact origins are unknown, the song was believed to have been written by Ukrainian-Polish poet-songwriter Tomasz Padura in the first half of the 19th century. It is representative of what is known as the Ukrainian school of Polish literature. Because of the unclear history of the song, it is sometimes presented as being either, or both, a Polish folk song or Ukrainian folk song. The lyrics vary only slightly between the two languages. Kde domov můj (pronounced [ɡdɛ ˈdomof muːj]; English: "Where My Home Is") is the national anthem of the Czech Republic, written by the composer František Škroup and the playwright Josef Kajetán Tyl. The piece was written as a part of the incidental music to the comedy Fidlovačka aneb Žádný hněv a žádná rvačka (Fidlovačka, or No Anger and No Brawl).
