asphalt 8+ | m1 mac | 60fps | excited for the m1 max & pro
#gaming #asphalt #m1 #60fps #mac #testing
just testing new recording app to see what the capture speeds are like.
looking at the specs of the new m1 mac pro and max chips it's gonna be so easy to run a game like this full settings and with that incredible SSD speed not drop any frames while recording/streaming games (hopefully)
even on this 16gb, m1 macbook air -- i can edit video and play a little bit of gaming without dropping frames, it's pretty amazing for it's size, weight and power demands -- i think i'm gonna be set with the max version of this new m1 chip.
Sure it's kinda pricy at £6k for the new macbook pro but i feel like apple machines are well built and it's worth it for the eco system that you get into, anything PC related like that just doesn't have the same kinda of power management i need to happen for it to be a real daily driver. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irRtF7TLRQM
vlog of all sorts this morning, a hundred and one things firing through my mind this morning. in this crazy life. i'm scheduling a bunch of videos so i know this channel is getting fed. i'm keen to get some tools to make the shooting, edit and uploading phase easier. only then i think i'll start to be truly able to commit to this digital work frontier. it's going the right way thou, back to my roots. --------------- i’m using ----------------

i’m always having people say ‘I don’t have the time to blog’ and I’m always mega confused by that statement when we have the tools that we have today. Even if you have a slow internet connection or old machine (I use a Mac) you can really get a blog post done very quickly, no excuses about images and all that with this video update!
just wanted to put together a short video this morning about what pipeline of tools i use when i'm putting together a blog post for the steem blockchain -- so many times people tell me they don't have TIME to blog, which i can't understand. .. these tools help SO MUCH!
- unsplash.com (if you don't have pics)
- https://imageoptim.com/mac (optimize pic size)
- teeny tokyo (for adjusting pixel width size)
- getcloudapp.com (storing in the cloud, also clipboard link)
- textexpander.com (macro regular used text -- gamechanger!)
- https://esteem.app (great frontend to steem blockchain)
I realise that seems like a lot but really it's not, if you get into a flow you can auto launch all those (cloudapp/textexpander sit in tray anyway) and you can be in and out in a flash -- blogging can be easy if you use the right tools!
Once you find a pipeline that works for you then blogging can be less about being a chore but actually something that you enjoy to do on a daily basis and if you use some of these tools not only can you be a good net citizen by shrinking your images, remove bloated metadata (even location data) you can get your post out and done FAST!
ALSO. . .
wanna try out the future of brand advocacy?

I realise this is a long video but I really wanted to put something out about block-review again but more as a long form piece so I can reach out to tech reviewers to see if I can help them get started on the steem blockchain, earn some hunt tokens and ultimately take part in the potential of a global decentralised network of brand advocates and reviewers.
The future of brand advocacy will be tokenised, fast, daily reviewers globally reviewing products and getting paid in tokens, no need for accounting to get involved and all the paperwork involved with other countries and with blockchain power allow for fast transacting times and getting paid in seconds for your work and reviews rather than waiting days, weeks or month (often putting a strain on the client relationship)
Actually doing work you love and getting paid to do it instead of getting sucked into Adsense algo hacking and being something your not just to get some money.

i've been thinking about all the people who are not steemians in the uk (to start with) and why people are not on the blockchain and actively taking part, what the barrier to entry is.
i've decided to create a standard email newsletter in the hope that those people who are still used to receiving emails can deal with a newletter once a week (and if it goes well daily) so you can get updates of things that appear around the steem blockchain platform.
this feeds into the whole 30 day drip feed element of ampsteem.com that i want to work on this week so we can onboard and retain that way and start making multiple drip feed routes for people interested in certain elements of the steem blockchain.
