Rain has caused the water level to rise a lot and had to shift all the sets. Finally made a catch with some fur. If any more rain is in the forecast, I will have to pull everything and wait for the water to fall and shift to plan B or bring a boat to get to the sets.

In this video I am winding down to the end of my trap line. I am pulling the second area that I set and putting in new sets at the last location, trying to get the last of the beavers there caught. The water has finally gone down in the woods, and I am able to recover both traps at the back side of the timber. In the trap that made a catch and pulled the anchor, I was able to determine what happed that allowed it to accrue. The trap that completely flooded in the bottom of the ditch on the first night, also had made a catch.

Back in an area that I trapped last season. I am trying a few new things, including a Badger tool made by Muskrat man Knifes. I am also going to be targeting Otter this year with my home-made fish oil and glitter (Thanks Mark Conner for the tip). I am also trying some black widow stand for the first time.
