I bought this little camera used about a year ago used for $40 and it has been a fun camera to have. For stills picture taking it does a wonderful job. For taking video it is nice because it has built in stabilization with a decent zoom on it. The camera shoots video at 1080p 24 fps just lovely. I recently found out that it will also shoot slow motion at 480p 120 fps and 240fps at 240p which is absolutely useless. I have to say it isn't horrible slow motion for the price but it isn't slow motion quality like what a GoPro can do but then again your not spending $300+ on a camera either. If you crop the slow motion video in post you could use it for a few shot shots integrated with your 1080p video. Also the final video image looks much better in brighter light for slow motion. Awhile back my laser machine had an accident and it caused my laser tube to short out, burn a hole in the water line and eventually the laser tube blew up from lack of coolant! I installed a larger and longer upgraded laser tube. since the tube would not fit in the frame my machine had I had to open the end and add an extension to secure the tube. Someone in one of the laser groups suggested using a wide mount mason jar as an extension. I measured and was going to try it but my tube diameter was to large. I ended up settling on a jar that has an extra wide top and it worked out perfect!
