I didn't tighten the chuck enough on the first attempt, so the ring came loose.
I did a second attempt on the same ring, which worked really well!
Some of the letters are duplicated because of the false start, and the text is distorted because the plastic is too flexible. I just need to remake the hook part in metal to make it stiffer and I think I'll be there.

The escape wheel now has a locking face, which should help to decouple the escape wheel from the balance wheel during part of the cycle, hopefulling improving accuracy.
There are no banking pins, the idea was that the escape wheel would pull the pallet pin into the root until it couldn't go any deeper, but in practice it doesn't seem to get that far. Maybe the locking face needs a steeper angle.
Ideally I think the slot in the lever would have more free space to allow the balance wheel to swing freely, but for now I'm just using the same lever as before.

This is (part of) a "configurable loaded die". The weight will be mounted on the platform so that it can be moved up and down inside the die. The outer dimensions are 27*27*27 mm. It uses a tiny linear servo to move the platform, and some pogo pins in the cradle connect to the brass pips on the face of the die to power the servo. When the light flashes red it means the servo drew too much current and the Arduino got reset.
