The Lost Video on Starting to take the Floor Out
Total Remodel of Roy's Old House. The siding is getting changed to Hardiplank Siding and we are fixing the Dry Rot and Termite damage as we go. This house was added on several times and years ago someone put block foundation under this house with no Ventilation so the humidity could not escape and just invited termites and dry rot.
Now that I am retired, I just might show my life and some of the towns around me. I enjoy working on Cuckoo Clocks and clocks in general, How to repair vacuums, fans and things form the thrift stores, besides the thrift store finds. Time Lapse, Bird & Sky watching along with gardening. Helping my Dad with things he loved to do, along with taking dad and his wife to breakfast 3 times a week

This Waterbury clock has a Admiral Fitzroy's Storm Glass and temperature gauge on the clock. A very nice pendulum with a hand that will show you weather you are speeding up the clock or slowing it down. I found out as I took the movement out, that there were pieces missing so the clock could not strike.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challange of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.

This Linden Clock was made in Germany and the Movement is a Cuckoo Clock Manufacturers Inc. but this is a Japan clock.
This clock is so close to being a Cuckoo Clock, yet it has no bellows. Just a gong that is attached to the Blacksmiths arm to make him hammer the steal.
