Solidworks Training - Tutorial, The Basics: The Sketch Environment and Basic Dimensions
This is a video about the sketch environment in Solidworks, and the dimensioning between those entities that can be created in the sketch environment. It is for new users to Solidworks and covers the various entities and dimensioning them. ===================================================== If you like what you are seeing, please subscribe! In this episode, we take our sample bracket and detail it out in a drawing. We go thru a sample type drawing package with a overview front sheet, a sheet with general dimensions (sort of a genereal arrangement drawing) and then the detail pages of each of the 3 body / parts. This is an example of multibody drawing workflow (in my opinion the best design principle) that is VERY uncommon in the Solidworks Community. This will show the user how to isolate a "body per page" so that they are able to send this off to a vendor or the shop floor. I don't use vault so I have no idea how multibody interacts with Vault, or any ERP, MRP system. This is how I tend to design, so it may not work for your situation but as always I hope it gives you some tools to stick in your belt and makes you a better CAD Jockey. Hope you enjoy, Skud.

Guys, this is a short video on replacing the Exhaust from the manifolds back on the 88 F250. I bought an Ebay Kit and the kit was well worth it. The kit had a Flowmaster 50 Delta which sounds good but is a bit loud. If I were ordering it again, I would have purchased a Flowmaster 70 Series which would have sounded like "stock" except for the new "y-pipe" but I wanted a quieter sound than the 50 with the new "y". Sounds healthy though...
Enjoy.

Hey folks!
If you have ever wanted to merge line segments in a sketch that are collinear, this is how you do it. Also works with coradial and should work on splines that are both tangent and curvature continuous.... Hope this helps someone!

This video is the fourth in a series on building a fairly simple 2x4 construction fish tank stand. It also uses 4x4s for some of the parts. We are finally finishing up the top, some glue up and Ty getting familiar with layout. This is Part 4.

This is the start of a mini series on design and build. First we will start out designing a buffing station for the shop. Sourcing parts, cleaning up STEP files or using them as a point of reference for our models, then putting all of the parts together in an assembly and finally generating drawings. After we get drawings done, we will fabricate the darn buffing station. This is not going to be a "fly by" series for the pros, but an in depth series for those who are new to design.

Hey guys, this one is not so quick, sorry about the length but there just isn't a quick way to communicate this subject. If you are one of the rare folks that oval the end of oversized tubing, to smaller tubing junctions, then this vid is for you! This one is an oddity but a good one.

This Video Series is about My experience in China. They are my opinions, things observed as they happened to us and my critiques. We went to China for Canton Fair 2018, The spring show in April. While there we explored Guangzhou pretty extensively (well as extensive as someone can do in 3 weeks) and we also checked out Shenzhen and Hong Kong. We went to the beach in Hong Kong, visited the Electronics Market or SEG Building Plaza, and went to the Pet Market in Guangzhou.
Thanks to both Matt and Winston for all of the videos that they had put out up to this trip as they were immensely helpful in getting ready for the trip and knowing what to do when we were there and what to avoid.

This video is the review / followup of my DIY home built fresh air mask or otherwise known as a Positive Pressure Mask. I have had a chance to use it both for some auto painting and sandblasting and for having less than $50 into it, it works great. This video covers the latest modifications including goggle protection and goggle venting to prevent fogging up. Part 3
