This is more about how to choose a pair of binoculars for the right application. Generally for hunting applications I prefer a mid sized pair over full sized binoculars. I definitely do not like compact binoculars, to me mid sized give you the right balance.
I also prefer binoculars in the 6-8X range for use in cover and timber. When hunting on open terrain I would opt for binoculars in the range of 10-14X.
This is a fascinating 24 part lecture series on the civilizations of North America from the arrival of first peoples (pre clovis) all the way up to European contact. I will upload them all over the next week or two.
The people of the ancient Southwest were skilled astronomers, incorporating astronomical alignments in their architecture with impressive displays of light and shadow. Learn how discoveries of the Sun Dagger and the Chimney Rock lunar observatory—as well as the alignment of Great Houses miles apart along lunar maximum lines—could help reveal the true purpose of Chaco Canyon.

I was asked about daily routines and realized that may be we should look at this for the entrepreneur, the self employed and even the work at home individual with a ton of flexibility in how they run their day. My first "work from home" gig was over 20 years ago, since that time I have either had that option or have had almost total flexibility on how, where and when I have worked.
This requires self imposed routine and I have seen very successful people get almost nothing done due to the lack of their own routines. Fortunately most of them had built companies to the point where they ran without them, that is indeed when their aimless wondering began.
Today I want to talk about my routine and how it may help you develop your own. Once you gain freedom there is no one to tell you when to do what, how to do it and to hold you accountable. There is only you to do that for yourself. This requires you to self manage and just as a manager has guidelines for his people, a self manager must create said framework for themselves.
This can indeed be more difficult than it sounds. Oh and even if you are an employee, master this skill within the limits you have and those limits will expand and you will absolutely excel compared to your peers.

In The Duck Chronicles Episode Fourteen - Chowing Down on the Green the ducks have had their first successful outside overnight mission. Accomplished with minimal supervision by Charlie and Max.
Today we cross a bridge where the ducks begin to truly become independent and begin moving toward flock integration, though they are quite a ways from that still at this point.
Our relationship now much change as well. No more daily handling and that means no more daily weighing. They now need to see us as benevolent creatures the hang out with them, don't bother them and simply give them food and water and lead them to good places to find forage.
It is this relationship that makes managing them easy for the rest of their lives. It allows them to trust you when you want to heard them to a location or put them in for the night. It is why they are excited to see you each morning vs. afraid. All this is mostly accomplished by doing nothing but sitting with them every morning and afternoon.
I also have more Q&A for you today, such as...

Why I don’t want to process my own ducks?
Will I provide videos of "Geoff Lawton’s Idea" for duck integrated aquatic farming? Yes but not as part of this series.
How do you keep chickens and ducks from eating your garden? Those really are two separate questions by the way.
