This image was shot with the Jupiter 9 featured in the video mounted on a Canon P. The rangefinder was focused on the model's eyes, whereas the lens focused just a few centimetres off such that her ponytail is in focus.
What are the relative advantages of the most popular Japanese LTM rangefinder versus the most popular Soviet LTM rangefinder?

The Nikkor-S 5.8cm f/1.4 was made only for two years, from March 1960 to March 1962. In Nikon's own words, "Once the lens had outlived its usefulness, production ceased."

Looking back on the past year, I'd like to share some thoughts on the direction and themes I'd like to pursue in the coming months. Basically, my goal is to help people who want to get into 35mm photography for the first time. My dominant theme lately has been "sleeper" systems which I feel are undervalued by the market and thus are an opportunity for the alert hobbyist. I plan to continue down this path, plus talk a bit about developing black and white film at home.
