Nutrition 101_ Out of the WHO and in with the NEW with James Roguski
Today I’m so fortunate to have James Roguski with me, who is a researcher and author for a natural health proponent, and an activist for getting old systems out and new systems in. James Roguski uses his research of the World Health Organization (WHO) to educate the public on what really happens behind WHOs closed doors. He shares with us the dangers of The Zero Treaty, and of the proposed amendments to existing International Health Regulations (IHR). We discuss the concerning effects these changes can have on our governments, personal freedoms, and our own personal health decisions. We uncover the global decisions that affect our personal health care and talk about how to take action to make your voice heard.
Imagine our brains like a complex circuit board, and today we’re going to break down how to keep that board lit up and buzzing for optimal health. We’ll talk mechanics, chemicals, and good old-fashioned brain care.
We’ll dive into the juicy topic of neuroplasticity and why those quick solutions to health issues aren’t always the best solution. Let’s face it, understanding our health is a marathon, not a sprint. I’ll even share a story from my own circle that really spotlights the twists and turns in navigating our healthcare maze.
Today’s episode is going to be chock-full of nuggets, from the impacts of surgery to the wonders a pair of sneakers can do for our spine health. We’ll even touch on the big things, like how important tummy time is for babies and what might go sideways if little ones miss out.
Got a crawler in the house? You’ll want to hear why their time on all fours is laying down some major brainpower for later. I’m even sharing some tools of the trade that could help keep your child’s development on track.
And yes, we’re going to get real about the hurdles of sticking to a care plan when life throws curveballs—because it will, and how crucial it is to watch for developmental milestones.
It’s all about making sense of the wiring in our little ones’ heads and giving them the best start possible—let’s get this brain party started!

In today’s episode I’m going to share my journey to becoming a developmental specialist and the credentials and education I have that allows me to put myself into this category. I think it’s important to know the background of what somebody’s education actually taught them. If you’ve been listening to the series on childhood development up to now, you might find yourself wondering how I’m actually qualified in the areas of childhood development, after all, I’m “just” a chiropractor right? Wrong! Chiropractors don’t just adjust bones and muscles. What we do is so much more diverse. When I was in chiropractic school we learned about the WHOLE body.
However, I have much more training in addition to my chiropractic schooling. I have numerous credentials including being a certified autism specialist and a diplomate in clinical chiropractic pediatrics, and I’m currently working on my seventh credential! In order to stay certified in these different areas, I need to continually get recertified and continually learn. I feel an urgency in helping our kids thrive and I’m very passionate about it! In order for me to do my job well, I am committed to constantly learning. In this episode, I’ll also share more about what it is we do here at Connect My Brain including the types of therapies we use and how we design individual patient programs.

Today we are going to look at how stimulant medications actually work, things to consider when stopping or starting stimulant medications, and how too much screen usage is actually linked to symptoms of ADHD in children and teens.
The number of kids being diagnosed with some form of attention issue is growing every year. I believe that parents have the right to make decisions for their kids, but I believe that those decisions need to be informed by research and facts that many parents are not aware of. It is your job as a parent to research and learn so that you can make the best decisions for your child. My hope is that this podcast will be a helpful and encouraging starting point for you.

In kids, a major red flag is gross developmental delay. If milestones aren’t being met, it’s crucial to dive deeper. It’s not just about late walking or talking; it’s about unraveling the WHY behind each delay.
Pregnancy is a crucial period—not only for physical but also for brain development. The episode takes an insightful look at how a mother’s immune state during pregnancy can set the stage for her baby’s brain development and long-term health, including potential impacts on developmental milestones.
Pregnancy is a crucial period—not only for physical but also for brain development. This connection is more profound than we ever realized. We will also explore how colic and other early discomforts may be warning signs, related to factors such as vagus nerve irritation, medical interventions during labor, and vaccines, and how these may contribute to developmental concerns.
In this episode, we’ve touched on proteins, stress, immune systems, brain chemistry, and even cholesterol—but it’s just the tip of the iceberg. For the curious and the concerned: keep learning, keep asking, and keep connecting. Your brain and your health are worth it.

Everything we do can be linked back to reflexes. Reflexes that are firing at a heightened level can cause all kinds of chaos in a little person’s life. Many of the “behaviours” children struggle with can actually be explained when we take a look at their reflexes and whether or not they have integrated properly. It’s not innate in us to not be able to self-regulate so if things don’t seem to be functioning as expected, get a professional opinion. The earlier an intervention is made, the more easily a change can be made.

Today we have the honor of welcoming two extraordinary guests: Dr. Paul Thomas and DeeDee Hoover, who will share their transformative journey in pediatric healthcare.
Dr. Paul opens up about how his observations led him to challenge conventional pediatric practices after witnessing alarming developmental changes in children post-vaccination. His research and subsequent findings on health outcomes between unvaccinated and vaccinated groups have sparked controversy and profound conversations about vaccine safety and immunity.
Facing adversity after losing his medical license, Dr. Paul, with the unwavering support of DeeDee, pivoted towards advocating for a more holistic approach to pediatrics through coaching and public speaking. Together, they’ve developed the Kids First 4 Ever program, guiding parents to focus on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness for their children starting from pregnancy.
In today’s episode, we’re covering ground on numerous critical issues — from Dr. Paul’s insights on the environmental impacts on neural development, to DeeDee’s passion for preventing childhood pain through early holistic care. They emphasize the power of taking charge of one’s healing journey and the importance of support systems like coaching during tough times.
Our conversation touches upon the influence of toxins in our environment, the importance of organic living, and the complexities of recommending vaccinations in today’s age.
As special bonus content, we’ll be exploring Dr. Paul’s perspective on childhood illnesses, addressing the potent natural immunity children possess, and the potential risks of not experiencing these illnesses. And finally, an interesting take on the recent COVID-19 vaccines and their efficacy amidst a rapidly mutating virus.
Stick with us as we offer resources to navigate these complex topics, provide support programs, and learn how to focus on love, resilience, and empowerment for stronger, healthier families.

It’s important to realize that there are no blood tests or any other objective tests to diagnose autism – it is all based on observation. Additionally, the statistics about how many children actually have autism today vary depending on who you cite. Some say 1 in 100 children have some form of autism but others say the numbers are as low in 1 in 30 children. Regardless of which numbers you use, there is no doubt that the numbers are continuing to climb every year. So why are cases on the rise? Part of the reason has to do with the way that autism is diagnosed and the policies surrounding it, but I believe there are also biological factors that play a huge role in the rise in autism diagnoses. In this episode I’ll talk about the history of the autism diagnoses, the policies surrounding it, and why exactly the statistics surrounding autism are so unclear. We’ll also look at biological factors that influence the rise of autism such as heavy metals, vaccines, overuse of antibiotics in kids, and environmental toxins. Finally, I’ll share what is actually going on in the brain of someone with autism and what you should be doing if your child has autism or some kind of other developmental delay.
