From the producers of Channel 4's "The Tube" comes what is supposed to be ITV's answer to "Top of the Pops". It's the hottest nightclub on the telly, The Roxy! Presented by David "Kid" Jensen and Kevin Sharkey, this series used a weekly chart distributed by Satellite Media Services, produced by Capital Radio and compiled by the Media Research Information Bureau (MRIB). You could hear "Kid" count them down every Sunday afternoon from 5pm, in competition with BBC Radio 1's own chart show.
This is episode 11.
This week:
* "Kid" Jensen called The Roxy "Britain's #1 hit music show". New music with the animation.
* T'Pau at #40 with "Heart and Soul". They're named after the Vulcan high priestess, and Spock's mom. They're making their British TV debut on The Roxy!
* Debuting at #15, the Pet Shop Boys and Dusty Springfield with the video to "What Have I Done to Deserve This?".
* At #22, Jesus and Mary Chain with "Happy When It Rains".
* At #5, Rick Astley and "Never Gonna Give You Up". A live Rickroll!
* At #9, a replay of Wet Wet Wet's "Sweet Little Mystery".
* Boogie Box High drops to #18, were these people on Top of the Pops?
* Stock Aitken and Waterman become an act themselves, charting at #10.
* #1 with a homemade video, courtesy of The Roxy: Michael Jackson and Siedah Garrett and "I Just Can't Stop Loving You".
* Kevin Sharkey "rocking" the face mask over three decades before COVID.
* At #73, Yello and Shirley Bassey with "The Rhythm Divine". #73? Give me a break!
* Debuting at #19, The Smiths and the "Girlfriend" video.
* This is from a Saturday broadcast, and Tyne Tees has figured out that you should not overdub "The Kid".
Major props to Tyne Tees for thinking of using the stage as a cinema screen.

This is one of the themes from the 1995 package of NFL on TNT. It's called "Warrior Dance", which makes some sense.

Despite being born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, Edd Kalehoff is considered a part of New York City's musical history and enjoys his saxophone and his hip-hop. This urban version was used for NBA copyright notices for the NBA on TNT (or NBA on TBS). I would've used it for commercial billboards.
And as it turns out, it was also used for a commercial billboard in 1996. I did have video evidence, but the NBA must have taken it down.

This is the 6th track from GTR's bootleg album, Nerotrend. It's called "Endless Nights" and is the last track to feature Robert Berry as lead vocalist.
This is a musically upbeat number and probably more likely to chart (if it was actually released, that is). There's a bit of lyrical dissonance here, as our lead singer thinks back on when he had it all with a lover he does not have now. I'm getting some James Bond vibes from this song (especially during the bridge). Could this be a parallel for our current nation? Who knows?
UPDATE: This is not GTR. This is Robert Berry, all on his lonesome. This track can later be found on a release by his band, Alliance.
It's available on CD from Japanese label Elements Of Crime. Good luck finding it. I found it online from a man named EDGE at www.guitars101.com/forums/f145/gtr-nerotrend-unreleased-2nd-album-stu-flac-163871.html.
