Well, first of all I want to thank all of you who welcomed me back! Thank you so much for dropping in and watching my video! I have been so busy this summer. Yes, I have some other irons in the fire. Are any of you into sublimation yet? Well, if you are – I have designs! Lots of them. I’ll get into that later. Here is a list of what paints and recipes I used for this painting:

• My PILLOW PAINT is WalMart Colorplace Ready To Use Satin White – 14oz of paint with one tablespoon of water.
• The POURING MEDIUM – I used for this one was Sherwin Williams Satin (indoor/outdoor) ultra deep base – I was out of my HGTV Sherwin Williams Satin – Base C. I used 3 tablespoons of the SW ultra deep base– plus one tablespoon of Minwax Polycrylic --- and I added 1 tablespoon of Josonja varnish.
• The CELL ACTIVATOR – Floetrol 2TBS, Glue All 1TBS, Pre Stain Minwax -1/2tsp and ½ tablespoon of Amsterdam White.

THE PAINT COLORS:
• Mont Marte Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna and Turquoise
• Masters Touch Turquoise Green and Yellow Ochre
(NOTE: since these are pretty thick paints – I used about ½ tablespoon (or 2 good squirts of each paint to the pouring medium). I divided the pouring medium between 5 cups (well between 3 cups) as I already had 2 of the colors mixed from a previous pour. Stir well until all of your medium and paint is mixed.

Ya'll - this was so much fun! I really did not initially know how it would turn out - but I was super pleased! I used the dark navy (which is what I am using in that bathroom), I loved the metallic brown! The metallic silver did not have a huge showing - but gave that little bit of contrast needed, as well as the black. The place I purchased this cut-out - which is an awesome place, by the way, is called Build A Cross (https://www.build-a-cross.com). They have a cut out of everything you can imagine! I was super happy with how this turned out! Leftover paints from one of my previous videos – colors that I loved (and got the pallet from Designed By Kathy Pinterest – Art Board). The colors are cinnamon, pure gold, caribbean, and crimson, I had previously added one part paint and two parts Floetrol. I preserved the paints, but I did add a bit more Floetrol to each color. I loved how this turned out! My base paint (some are calling it the pillow paint) is acrylic Titanium White with one part paint and two parts Floetrol. I used a purple and blue – also mixed one part paint to two parts Floetrol. For the “cell activator” I used the same Titanium White – but added just about 3 drops of treadmill belt silicone oil. I added just a few drops of the “activator” in between EACH layer of each color of paint! Hope you will give it a try! Well, ya’ll, this was a fun pour! It turned our better than I had even hoped – which is always a great thing to happen. I mixed my colors with a one part paint and two parts Floetrol recipe. yellow ochre ultramarine blue burnt sienna metallic rich espresso Using the cake spinner is an option with the process. You should still get lovely results just using the strainer – just do not stretch too much so as to lose the pattern. Thanks again for watching – I greatly appreciate your support! One never knows exactly why a pour goes wrong – but trust me they do! But hey, you can scrape it off and start over, completely trash it – or keep going with it until you like it! To me, that is the beauty of pouring. So, I’m using Purple Velvet (mixed with another purple), Black, Metallic Gold, Tomato Red (mixed with some brown) and Arteza Pale Green and Chromium Oxide Green. Using the bubble wrap was a definitely experiment – because you just never know! While I did not get the results initially I wanted – I was able to get some very cool little intricate details by using the bubble wrap and just smashing into various places.
