I started out drawing humans, then in college I switched to creature design. To help with creature design I practiced by drawing animals. Eventually, a sizeable portion of my followers were furries and they started asking me to draw furry stuff. I've never had trouble learning how to draw humans and animals but for some reason furries are like impossible to get right xD I still like animals and humans better, but I think for the sake of character design there's utility in learning how to draw anthropomorphic stuff. It's just such a nightmare to get a good style. Animals and humans are easier to cartoonize without them looking uncanny. This was an old suggestion from Deviantart last year. In this activity page, the child can learn numbers 0-10, writing, counting, and types of animals/professions. They can first identify all of the numbers, animals, and professions. To help with counting, you can ask the child to count the number of each type of animal (example: How many birds are there?) In the empty box, they can practice writing the corresponding number. I tested a new outline coloring style but I didn't like it, wasn't colorful enough. So instead I refined my old style a bit. I've found a fast way to reduce the file size, usually they end up 5MB+ but now I can keep it around 2.5MB. I also tried changing the hue and reducing opacity. It works well for getting the right amount of dark and light while keeping the gradient intact. I also tried new colors. Usually I stick to the edges of the color wheel but this time I went with the middle. I keep forgetting that the corner of the color wheel doesn't change color when it's multiplied so I need to stop using colors in that area. Otherwise it just turns bright neon and becomes an eyesore. This is another attempt at a cartoon style, I'm enjoying testing them. Anime feels more cute than derp and toon feels more derp than cute lol. Free to use finished colored page.
