bass-heavy groove based on gdansk by paquito d'rivera -- it was really fun to make this little thing and i'm considering making a cover of gdansk. i highly recommend paquito d'rivera's "why not". it's a great album
through this little thing, i specifically wanted to touch on producing keyboards together with bass for the bassline. i absolutely love the sound of piano/rhodes/wurlitzers playing the bassline with the bass at the same time, and think it has a wonderful practical purpose of cutting through more. i made it kind of hard to hear, but the bassline is held up by the guitar, a piano, AND a rhodes all at the same time. it's mono goodness
