Today I review the Sennheiser GAME ONE Gaming Headset; an open back set of gaming headphones with that typical Sennheiser tone. You get a wide soundstage to help locate where sounds are coming from, and a relatively neutral tone. The microphone doesn’t sound amazing, but it does a good enough job for gaming.

Today I review a multi pattern condenser mic from Behringer, the C-3. This thing does a lot of things decently, but none of them great. If you are on a tight budget, and will actually use the multiple polar patterns, then I guess it would be a fine entry level option.

Today i review probably the most affordable small diaphragm condensers on the market, the Behringer C2's. These cost $60 for a pair, so essentially $30/each. The sound is surprisingly good for that price, but it's not without it's flaws. On some sound sources the bass and low mids can get out of hand, and the treble boost is a bit artificial and harsh. If you're able to work around these issues, for $30/each, I think they're pretty good.

HQ Audio Of Review: https://podcastage.com/rev/at2040usb
Today I review a new USB dynamic mic from Audio Technica, the AT2040 USB. This is a plug and play device with a great mute button, a headphone volume control, mix dial to mix zero latency monitoring and computer playback, and a high pass filter. It offers a very upper mid/presence forward sound that can sound a bit artificial. It's not my favorite sounding, but for plug and play simple to use devices, if you don't care much about the sound, it's pretty great.

Today I review the classic looking Shure Super 55 Deluxe Vocal Microphone. You’ll be getting a very well built mic with a super cardioid polar pattern to help with bleed from other instruments on stage & feedback from the PA, a cut to the low-end to curb the proximity effect, handling noise and plosives, and a presence boost to help your voice sit on top of the mix. Additionally, this thing will make you look like a modern Elvis who is fronting a rockabilly band.
