A little boy was saved from serious injury at a hockey game last Thursday when a quick-thinking man jumped in front of him to intercept a wayward puck heading into the crowd. The puck flew off the ice during a Cleveland Monsters game, heading straight for the 4-year-old Nasir Davis. In a shared video of the incident, Nasir’s mom is heard screaming, ‘Oh my God!’ as the puck flies towards them. Without hesitating, 28-year-old Andrew Podolak leaps in front to shield the boy. It was such a close call that Nasir’s mom later recalls how her son had ice chips from the rink in his hair.
